Shilla Monogram Quang Nam Danang Resort is established under the newly launched Shilla Monogram brand by The Shilla Hotels & Resorts, a subsidiary of Samsung Group. This flagship property is The Shilla's first foray outside of Korea. Set atop the tranquil sandy beachfront between Danang city and the UNESCO World Heritage town of Hoi An, the resort is just 20-minute drive away from both sites. The total number of rooms is 309.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages. After dipping into one of the 4 outdoor swimming pools, you can spend some time at the private beach. Additional amenities at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and a banquet hall.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Wkat a wonderful Resort! We had a lovely stay of 10 days made even better by the wonderful staff - Vi the concierge and an excellent driver named Nho whe drove us to Ba Nam Hills & ensured the day went smoothly. The, too the dining room staff soon knew us & made sure we were well accommodated. Do check out photos of this five star resort. We would definitely want to come back. Cliff & Linda.

The hotel is overall very clean, well maintained and feels genuinely luxurious, with a high standard and beautiful facilities. We had a good stay overall, but there are a few details that could definitely be improved, especially for a 5-star hotel.
The check-in experience was very good. We were warmly welcomed, and the staff were friendly and professional. The restaurant staff in particular deserve a lot of praise – they are extremely attentive, helpful and provide excellent service.
One of the biggest downsides for us was the smell in the hallways leading to the rooms. On the 5th floor, there was a noticeable damp/musty smell, almost like mould, which is not very inviting when walking to your room. We noticed the same smell when first entering our room, although fortunately it became less noticeable after a while.
The breakfast is good and there is a decent selection, but I expected a little more from a 5-star hotel. If you stay for more than three days, it can become quite repetitive. Pho is served every day, for example, but it is fairly basic compared to the amazing pho you can easily find elsewhere in Vietnam.
The pool area is beautiful, with several pools that are clean and well maintained. However, the sun loungers are honestly very uncomfortable without the mattresses and are almost impossible to lie on for any length of time without getting sore. When the mattresses are actually put out, the loungers are very comfortable. Unfortunately, this is not always done. Even when it is not raining, the mattresses sometimes aren’t put out because rain may be expected later - they told they will not put it out for us, because it’s MAY rain a littlebit later.
There are comfortable loungers with mattresses near the jacuzzi area, but this is in a separate area from the main pool, so it is not very convenient if you want to swim and relax by the pool. There are also cabanas available for an additional charge, which of course have comfortable mattresses. I don’t know whether this is intentional, but at a 5-star resort I feel the regular sun loungers should also be comfortable without guests having to pay extra for a cabana.
Overall, this is a beautiful hotel with a high standard, great facilities and excellent staff. Most of the issues are relatively small things that could easily be improved, but at a hotel in this price range and category, the small details matter.
