Sheraton Grand Danang is a beautiful hotel and, visually, easily one of the best three hotels we have stayed in. The entrance foyer is impressive, the pool is excellent, the grounds are manicured to almost golf-course standard, and the beach is genuinely lovely — even compared with the beaches we are used to in Perth. However, when a hotel charges premium prices, the service and room experience need to match. We paid extra for what was described as an ocean-view room, but in reality our main view was over a poorly maintained vacant lot, with only a glimpse of the ocean beyond it. That was disappointing given the higher room category. The food pricing is also extremely high. A can of Coke from the minibar was around A$20, and the restaurant and room-service prices were similarly premium. We did order room service and, to be fair, the food tasted very good. Unfortunately, there was sand in the vegetables. These things can happen anywhere, but at this price point they really shouldn’t. It is not an exaggeration to say that our room-service meal cost around 50 times more than some of the excellent local lunches we had in Da Nang on the same day. Overall, this is a stunning property with excellent facilities, but for the prices being charged, the room allocation, food quality control and overall service need to be more consistent with a true luxury experience.

We were impressed by making short stay at Sheraton Grand Danang Resort. Large room in clean condition, bathtub and shower facilities with stable water pressure. Amenities were well-prepared for our daily needs. The culinary experiences were another major highlight—the restaurants served outstanding, high-quality dishes throughout our visit. Staff members were attentive and friendly. In a morning, Mr Dang (not very sure if it’s a surname or not)specially served ginger drinks to my companion as he knew that she was feeling not too well. Grateful to his thoughtful service. We will definitely be back!
