- Sandy Beach Non Nuoc Resort
The resort is established on 17 hectares of private garden fronting Non Nuoc Beach of the East Sea. A picturesque 15 km drive through Danang City from the Airport brings guests to it. It is also conveniently located for excursions to the World Heritage Sites in Central Vietnam such as Hoi an Ancient Town, Hue Imperial City and My Son Holy Land. The location of the establishment makes it one of the most appreciated first class hotels in Danang. The property offers guests the complimentary use of two outdoor swimming pools, one outdoor tennis court, and a variety of recreational activities and relaxation treatments. A number of water sports is available on the beach. Guests can enjoy a bite to eat at one of the onsite restaurants. All rooms offer spectacular views of Non Nuoc Beach or the private gardens of the resort. All units are spacious and feature air conditioning, floor-to-ceiling windows and high ceilings. Private bathrooms in each unit come with shower facility, a hairdryer and free toiletries.
Spend the day on the private beach or dip into one of the 2 outdoor swimming pools. Additional amenities at this resort include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and babysitting (surcharge). Guests can get around on the shuttle (surcharge), which operates within 10 kilometres.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The hotel is super run-down. Booked a Premier Suite and cost $157/night. The room is dirty and dusty. The bed’s headboard is yellowish with stains. The furniture and fittings are rusty and torn. The bathtub is cracked. The beach bar is so old and dirty with no staff tending it. I had to get the life guard to find a staff to get my drinks. Not enough beach/pool chairs at the beach and pool. Even the beach towels are torn. The whole hotel has no aircon except a small room in the restaurant with only 10 tables and the hotel room. Was given only 1 key card so the room is hot when I get back. It is hell to stay here in summer. Hôtel provides 1 set of sample sized shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. How can it be enough for 2 pax in a room?! Location is far from city and there’s nothing around the hotel. Need to call taxi to get out just for a meal. Hotel food is terrible. Wifi is bad. YouTube on tv keeps loading. I will definitely not recommend this hotel! This is the worst hotel I had ever stayed.
Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was far below what I would expect from a property that claims to be a 4-star hotel.
Reception: The reception experience was extremely poor. The staff were not welcoming, did not greet us properly, and there was no welcome drink—not even a basic glass of water. Their attitude was often moody and unhelpful, making guests feel as though their requests were a burden.
Buggy Service: The buggy service was another major disappointment. The operators often did not answer the phone, and when they did, it could take an unreasonable amount of time for a buggy to arrive. Communication was also difficult, as some staff struggled to understand English and their attitude was not particularly helpful.
There was, however, one genuinely helpful and humble person in the buggy team, Lien, who deserves special recognition for his attitude and willingness to assist guests.
On one occasion, I called reception at 11:30 PM to request a buggy. We ended up waiting approximately 45 minutes. When the driver finally arrived, instead of coming directly to our block, he picked up other guests who happened to reach the pickup point before us. This was extremely frustrating after already waiting such a long time.
Room Service & Housekeeping: The room service/housekeeping experience was also disappointing. Staff knocked and opened the door even when the “Do Not Disturb” sign was clearly displayed. This is a serious privacy issue and should not happen in a professional hotel.
Room Amenities: For two guests, the room provided only two 500 ml bottles of water. There was also no creamer provided for coffee, which is a very basic amenity that I would expect from a hotel positioning itself as 4-star.
Overall, the biggest issue was not simply the facilities—it was the attitude and lack of hospitality from several members of staff. A hotel can have good rooms and facilities, but poor service and an unwelcoming attitude can completely ruin the guest experience.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously and provides proper training to the reception, buggy, and housekeeping teams. Hospitality should be about making guests feel welcomed and valued—not as though they are inconveniencing the staff.
We recently held our corporate conference at Sandy Beach resort, and it was a wonderful experience overall. The service quality was top-notch—the staff were exceptionally attentive, professional, and went out of their way to ensure our event ran smoothly. Beyond the event spaces, staying in the resort's hotel rooms provided a truly restful retreat. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and incredibly peaceful, featuring exceptionally comfortable beds and stunning direct the resort's green spaces that made relaxing after a long day of meetings effortless. Thank you to the entire team for your exceptional hospitality. We look forward to returning for future corporate events!
Friendly, comfortable, fresh air.
Location is super with long, clean and private beach. Rooms are clean though it is a little old. Guests are welcomed with a dish of fruit which amazed. Services are so good - you can always see the smiles from the receptionists, porters, waiters.. Food at the restaurant is middle -level not too bad but not too good. Very quiet place. The cost worth with what this resort offer.
