Good variety of food!
The lounge offers a beautiful view overlooking My Khe Beach, and the food is delicious and varied. The staff member, Chung, was incredibly helpful and attentive. I am very grateful to him for creating such a comfortable atmosphere in the lounge.
Love the rooftop pool and bar, Kaka makes a lovely cocktail/mocktail!
I'm going to start this review by saying that part of my experience is on me for not researching which part of Da Nang was going to be quieter.
First of all the good. The staff. I checked in after a long day with bad jetlag and the check I'm was flawless. The welcome amenities I got as a VIP member were the best I have had in a Radisson property. Every single team member from reception to lounge to pool were an absolute joy.
The Executive Lounge is also wonderful with a very nice spread of canapes. And, the breakfast was fantastic. Typical Radisson breakfast but that is always solid. I also had a very delicious egg coffee in the lobby cafe.
The rooftop pool and bar are also amazing the pool needs more recliners than it has but it's a lovely space. The hotel itself is very nicely done out and on brand - you know it's a Radisson you're staying in and I appreciate the brand consistency.
Unfortunately the noise killed it for me. Beach clubs opposite going on til late plus an active demolition site on the corner opposite. The rooms are not sound proofed adequately and it was like the beach club and traffic were in my room. Absolutely not a problem if you don't mind this btw and the clubs themselves looked amazing. The hotel can't help where it is but they could do more to soundproof.
Secondly it's pretty obvious that the Aircon - certainly on the 11th floor - can't cope with the humidity. The corridor itself smelt slightly mouldy and my room was always slightly clammy. The Aircon settings seemed to cover a range from cold and damp to less cold and still damp. My room showed sighs of previous water marks on the walls and the shower cubicle was constantly dripping with condensation, so this isn't a new thing.
After three nights of this combination I cut my losses, decided to leave and move down to a quieter part of the area. I lost three prepay nights but c'est la vie.
So really mixed feelings - the staff and hotel itself were amazing and I wouldn't say don't stay there - just make sure it's for you before you book.
