The 4-star New Orient hotel is located in central Da Nang on the West bank of the Han River. Situated at 20 Dong Da Street, right beside famous Phuong Dong Bar β the most amusing destination in Da Nang, the New Orient Hotel is the city's landmark hotel. The architecture creates a green space from sandstone, tropical forest trees would bring you the close feeling to the nature. The sweeping panoramas of the city, mountain, river and beautifully Thuan Phuoc bridge are viewable from the hotel's rooms and outlets. The international airport and the railway station are only 2km and 1km away respectively. The location is perfect to travel to UNESCO World Heritage sites, such as Hoi An and My Son sanctuary, as well as a number of world-class golf courses.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages, body treatments and facials. You can take advantage of recreational amenities such as an outdoor pool, a sauna and a fitness centre. This Art Deco hotel also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and a hair salon.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I had a nice stay at New Orient Hotel Da Nang, and a big part of that was Lucie at the front desk. Her warmth and genuine care set the tone from the moment I arrived. She went out of her way to make me feel welcome and was always quick to help with anything I needed. Her hospitality really stood out and made the stay feel personal rather than transactional. The breakfast team was friendly and attentive, a great way to start the day. One downside: a church bell around 4 AM startled me awake, so light sleepers may want earplugs. Thank you, Lucie and the whole team!
I found New Orient Hotel Danang completely by chance and at the absolute last minute. I arrived around 9 or 10 PM, needing somewhere to stay that same night, and somehow ended up having one of the most memorable hotel experiences of my entire trip.
From the beginning, the staff took care of me. They helped me find a room I lovedβand as far as I'm concerned, they gave me one of the best rooms in the hotel. π They even found a better rate for me than what I was initially quoted when I walked in.
But New Orient became much more than somewhere for me to sleep.
For a few days, they gave me a glimpse into what I want my future to look like.
I could order room service. I could go downstairs and enjoy the spa. I could swim, spend time at the rooftop bar, sit down and work when I needed to, and then go back to this beautiful room at the end of the day. I could simply enjoy where I was staying instead of treating the hotel as somewhere to drop my bags before running back outside.
And more importantly, they showed me how I should expect to be treated as a guest.
The staff didn't just perform good customer service. They were warm and personable. They stopped and had real conversations with me. They remembered me. When little things came up, they helped. Even when there was a misunderstanding during my stay, they handled it with honesty.
The spa was another highlight. I felt completely spoiled there and definitely had my little VIP moment. π My treatment ended with a milk bath, followed by a shower and refreshments, and instead of making me feel like I needed to immediately get dressed and leave once the service was technically over, they told me I was welcome to stay and relax for as long as I wanted. That small detail really stood out to me. There was never a feeling of being rushed through the experience so they could move on to the next person.
Then, on my final night, they somehow topped everything.
I had to leave for an extremely early flight, around 2β3 AM, long before breakfast. The hotel prepared a breakfast to go so I wouldn't leave hungry.
That almost made me cry. β€οΈ
It was such a small gesture, but it represented everything I had experienced there: someone had thought about me before I even had to ask.
By checkout, I wasn't leaving a building where I happened to rent a room. I felt like I was leaving my hotel family.
New Orient gave me comfort, great amenities, and a beautiful place to stay, but what I'll remember most is the feeling. For a few days, I got to experience a little glimpse of the life I'm working towardβand a standard of hospitality I will absolutely carry with me when I travel from now on.
When I return to Da Nang, I already know where I'm staying. β€οΈπ»π³

We stayed at the hotel in August, and unfortunately, we lost our babyβs stroller right after arriving in Da Nang. We arrived very early in the morning, and when we were getting ready to check out the next day, we realized that the stroller was missing.
Since our baby was still very young and needed to take naps during the day, traveling without a stroller would have been extremely difficult. We were honestly very stressed and didnβt know what to do.
Felix went above and beyond to help us find it. He contacted the airport and checked with the lost and found for us, and he kept trying until we were finally able to locate the stroller. It must have taken a lot of effort, and we were incredibly grateful for how sincerely he helped us.
While Felix was helping us with the stroller, Lucie kindly stayed with our baby and played with her, which gave us the time and peace of mind we needed to deal with the situation.
If it werenβt for Felix and Lucie, I think our Da Nang trip would have started very differently and been much more difficult. We will always remember how kind and helpful they were to our family.
