This resort is carefully designed so that guests will experience a new dimension in comfort and luxury while maintaining the original concept of a private holiday within a natural and peaceful environment. The resort itself spawns from an elevated position on the lower part of Khaolak hill and gently slope onto the 400 metres long beachfront. Travelers can take an evening stroll along the golden beach, with the occasional boulder rising from the fine sandy surface, and enjoy the peaceful view of the sunset, accompanied by the gentle background sound of the lapping waves. All restaurants are also ideally situated to enjoy a splendid view of the sea.

Wonderful Hotel
When we arrived we couldn’t believe what a beautiful setting the resort is in, between the rain forest and the sea, it was such a lovely first impression. The staff greeted us with a smile and were very efficient, telling us about the locations of restaurants, bars and pools etc. We had booked the Habiscus Grand Deluxe room and it was fantastic, a massive super King bed, stand alone bath and separate shower and very efficient A/C, any description I write here can not do the room justice to be honest. We ate at Cocos that night beside the beach and the food was superbly presented and tasted as good as it looked. My wife had a significant birthday the next day and the hotel had organised flowers and birthday cake at breakfast along with them singing Happy Birthday and that evening, they organised a romantic candlelight dinner on the beach for us, it was wonderful. Breakfast itself is buffet style, with international or local cuisine….you could have curry or noodles if you wish and it was all very good. We did have a visit from a big lizard one morning, which caused screams from a few people, including my wife. The staff were all lovely and a very big thank you to Tex and Kevin and Lisa in the Spa for looking after us. We can’t fault anything at The Moracea and highly recommend anyone to book a stay here, you won’t be disappointed.

The Lovely Moracea by Khao Lak Resort
Thank you once again to all the team at Moracea by Khao Lak Resort for a wonderful stay. Second time staying here and we’d definitely stay again, the swim up rooms are amazing. I can’t emphasise enough how friendly the staff are, lovely smiles and we always felt well looked after. A big thank you to Arm the bartender at the pool swim up bar for his kind hospitality around the pool. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Khao Lak. Key features, Lovely beach front location Lush green surroundings Short distance from the main town area, walking distance or short taxi ride. Ample breakfast selection And as mentioned already the lovely staff. Thank you for a lovely stay and we’ll see you next time Moracea.
Amazing Stay at Moracea Resort
Our stay at the beautiful Moracea Resort was absolutely amazing! A special shoutout to Mr. Sun, who was super nice and helpful throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed. Room was great and clean, excellent service and a wonderful experience overall - we can’t wait to come back!
A Wonderful and Relaxing Stay
We really enjoyed the calm and pleasant atmosphere, which made it very easy to relax, and the service throughout our visit was consistently excellent. The daily breakfast was delicious and felt like a true treat each morning. A special thanks to Mr. Sun for his warm hospitality and attentive care—he made our stay even better, and we would love to return in the future!

We had a fantastic stay at Moracea by Khao Lak Resort and felt incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived, thanks to the friendly and helpful staff, especially Mr. Sun and Ms. Bee. The resort is beautifully located right on a stunning beach, with spacious, clean rooms and a lush, peaceful atmosphere throughout. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious and varied breakfast, and the restaurant and bar offered great food and cocktails with amazing sea views. The warm hospitality made our holiday truly unforgettable, and we would highly recommend this resort and love to return someday.
