Superb Hotel with amazing staff. Loved there everything and support. Very close to patong beach. Everything is nearby. If you travel solo or with family this is the best hotel.

'Creative' Joiner Policy
I have no issues with the facilities and standard of accommodation at The Amata Patong as it was my 'go to' hotel in Phuket. However, on my last visit in May I had a disagreement with the management over their creative and mercenary interpretation of the Joiner/Guest policy, designed as a 'grab for cash' from unsuspecting travelers. Beware! If you are a single traveler who books for two people and think you can bring back a different guest each night, you are going to get caught. The first guest become 'registered' as the second person on your room for the rest of your stay, so that the next guest, on another night, becomes the 3rd person in your room and therefore 'breaches' the 2 person limit and you are then hit with a Joiner Fee. However, If you want to keep bringing that first guest back, then no problem....but most travelers want variety.
