Guests can also use the room and laundry services. Parking facilities are available. Younger guests will love the playground and the kids club, with large screen televisions and computers.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages, body treatments and facials. You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 3 outdoor swimming pools, outdoor tennis courts and a fitness centre. Additional features at this resort include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and babysitting (surcharge).
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
What a fantastic resort!!! We only got to stay for 2-nights, but wished we'd booked longer. It was our first time to this part of Phuket and its gorgeous. The resort is exquisite, the grounds are beautiful, we booked a pool suite which was extremely spacious, it has a great outdoor area, sun lounge, umbrella, outdoor table and a huge daybed. Everything has that 5* touch, extremely comfortable bed, good linen, pillow menu, walk in shower, excellent WiFi and anything you need is at your fingertips with the hotel app. Staff were outstanding, everytime you pass someone they say hello, they are very responsive, nothing is an issue and anything you ask for is actioned immediately. A big winner for us were the two adult only pools, but there is a large lagoon pool for families. Great selection for breakfast and we had the best steak ever, at Rivet which also has proper cocktails (which can be hard to come by in Thailand). Immediately outside the gate is the beautiful bay with a huge selection of places to eat, plenty of local shops and massage places. Its also literally 10-minutes to the airport (plane noise is not an issue). Highly recommended and we'll definitely be going back.
The Slate Phuket – Absolutely Exceptional
We have been holidaying in Thailand for over 30 years, and without a doubt, The Slate has been the best hotel and overall experience we've ever had.
From the moment we arrived, the staff effortlessly met our every need. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and everything was handled with genuine warmth and professionalism. The service was exceptional without ever feeling forced or over the top.
The location is perfect, right on beautiful Nai Yang Beach. It offers the ideal balance of a relaxed beach atmosphere with plenty of life. There are wonderful local restaurants, street food vendors, beach bars, and some of the best value massages we've had, all just a short stroll from the hotel.
The hotel itself is a true five-star resort. So many hotels advertise themselves as five-star but are really closer to three or three-and-a-half stars. The Slate genuinely deserves its five-star rating. The grounds are stunning, the rooms are beautifully designed, and every detail reflects quality and luxury.
The resort has at least three different pools, including peaceful adults-only pools as well as a large, exceptional family pool. One thing we particularly appreciated was that it never felt overrun with children. Families were well catered for, but there were also plenty of quiet spaces where couples could completely relax.
Our only disappointment was that we didn't stay longer.
We wouldn't hesitate to return and will definitely be back. If you're looking for a genuine five-star resort in Phuket with outstanding service, a fantastic location, and a truly relaxing atmosphere, The Slate is hard to beat.
The Slate is a stunning hotel with a huge territory and breathtaking views. Even after 10 days, we still didn’t manage to explore the entire property. There are so many beautiful plants, unique art installations, and many other fascinating details throughout the resort.
The room was spacious and comfortable. At first, the design concept was a little surprising, but after learning more about the hotel’s philosophy and story, everything made perfect sense and became truly impressive. The room had many thoughtful amenities, excellent housekeeping, and it was clear that the hotel genuinely cares about its guests. Having a coffee machine in the room was a wonderful touch.
There were, however, a few small drawbacks: the limescale in the shower was not very pleasant to see, and the lighting in the room was sometimes too dim, which could be a little frustrating.
The breakfast at the hotel was absolutely amazing! We have never experienced such a wide variety of dishes before. We also really appreciated the thoughtful gifts from the hotel: the welcome gift, dinner experience, spa treatment, and farewell gift.
The dinner was quite unique, but we chose this particular restaurant ourselves — Black Ginger. The atmosphere was incredible, and the whole experience was truly beautiful and memorable.
I will definitely come back!
Perhaps because it was the low season, the hotel offered excellent value for money. Everything—from the facilities and rooms to the food and swimming pools—was perfect.
The hotel’s unique design, impressive sculptures, and attention to detail made every corner visually interesting, with so much to explore and enjoy. Above all, the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming, which made the experience even more special and memorable.
This is a hotel I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone.
Great Hotel and closed to Phuket airport easier to get to the pier to Koh Yao Noi
