Amazing hotel, even better staff!
Incredible stay, and staff incredible!
Perfect family stay near a quiet beach
We stayed at this hotel and really enjoyed our time here. There is a beach nearby with very few tourists, several swimming pools, and plenty of activities for children. I would especially like to mention the kids’ animator Kohn, who did a great job with the little ones. Breakfasts were excellent, with a wide variety of options. There are also several restaurants on site, although after a longer stay you might wish for a bit more choice, as the same menus can become repetitive. There are a few restaurants in the surrounding area as well, but overall the hotel and neighborhood feel pleasantly uncrowded. Another big plus is that the hotel is located very close to the airport. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and if we come back to Phuket, we will definitely choose this hotel again.
Warmest Hospitality I ever Have
I bet my wife’s birthday and wedding anniversary on JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa, and the reward exceeded my expectation so much.
The facilities are well-maintained. The environment made us relax and comfortable. Many resorts can do that. But what makes the resort special is the people in here. Given a very short notice on my purpose of the stay (my bad), the team still did impressively and made my stay very memorable.
I would like to express my gratitude to the teams in the resort. The followings are my sincere appreciation list to the team
- Guest Relation Manager Game and team: We are grateful to enjoy the team’s arrangement on everything.
- Fitness team: Group classes are fun, especially Muai Thai Shadow class.
- Cooking class: The kitchen is clean. The food and facilities are all in very good condition. Really fun class.
- Cucina team: Breakfast’s great. Morning birthday song and cake was definitely a big surprise to us! Special thanks to Rachen taking care of everyone.
- Housekeeping: Not only the tidy room, but the lovely towel folidings!
- Front desk: Appreciate Nandira and Britney on late check-out arrangement. Understood that late check-out is not guaranteed in resort, but it’s a great bonus to us.
- Lobby bar: The bites are good, and the World Cup schedule is a thoughtful one.
I drafted this review one month later after checkout, and I can tell the hospitality is still warming my heart.

New tour desk is an epic fail
Everything at Marriott Phuket Beach Club is amazing, I have been going to this resort every year for 14 years. I’m just very unhappy that the tours & tour information have been taken away from the extremely experienced staff at the Concierge desk. The staff at the “new” tour desk do not have the local knowledge & experience that the Concierge have, it just feels like a “sell” dynamic which is most disappointing. Not sure if this is a financial decision on behalf of Marriott Hotels but it is a very bad decision for people that have been using the experienced Concierge staff for many years. I am now bringing Grandchildren back to Phuket but will NOT be using the tour desk on future stays.
