This is my first trip to Thailand,wonderful experience. An excellent welcome and great service from Yok at the front desk.this place is perfect for families,with plenty of activities for children. My kids had a great time here,and we really enjoyed our stay
We decided to have a lazy day at the hotel and ended up really enjoying ourselves. The pool was great, and Bam was very helpful.
This hotel had amazing reviews when I booked it but then I realised whilst staying at the hotel (when issues began) that TripAdvisor had stated that these reviews may not be honest and may have been AI generated. I was there for 8 nights only.
The hotel overall looks ok...to sum it up... The walls are streaming with condensation in and out of the rooms. My clothes which were hanging and books in the room became damp because i switched of the air con for 2 hours. I was told that I cannot touch the air con and have to leave on 19 degrees day and night. I had to turn off as I got poorly with a temperature and had the chills and was shivering. It appeared that they know the issue but dont warn you of it and not interested in rectifying it.
If the electricity goes which it did one day, their generator will only power sockets and lights. The air con won't work. Then if the generator is on for more than 8 hrs then everything goes and your in complete darkness. This happened during my stay, there was chaos and the hotel staff didnt have a clue what do. No back up provision, staff not knowing what to do and no customer service.
The staff are quite rude. I asked at breakfast one day if they do ice coffee I was told "the ice is over there". I asked what that meant and the guy said "ice is there ,cups that side and use machine". No one wants to smile, no one wants to assist. The staff actually all feel like they cant be bothered.
They also have a construction sight opposite, only a stone throw away. I could not hear my sister at breakfast or reception staff when I went to speak to them. They confirmed its not on site so they dont have to tell disclose. It is literally outside guys.
The hotel is close to kata beach and all the food places but there is a huge steep hill you have to walk up after every evening of being out.
Don't bother with the massages at hotel..Just go 5 mins down road.
People actually block sunloungers at 7am here which appears to be allowed.
The gym has 3 machines and 1 didnt work. Was pointless to call it a gym to be honest, never seen anything so small.
At the entrance they have drivers constantly pestering you for taxis etc. If you get a grab taxi they get annoyed.
Everything was so bad I had to leave and go and book another hotel to ensure that my family enjoyed the last few days of the holiday.
The hotel is not as described and is not cheap enough to reflect the service and condition of the hotel. Very outdated indeed.
I recommend this hotel because the staff are attentive and provide excellent by Yok and Bam .Additionally the hotel offers rooms that are well suited for families
The hotel had a good mix of places to relax and things to enjoy, We liked the pool and the restaurant, and Bam made us feel welcoming
