Very nice place for Families and very friendly staff!
Kids Club: We loved the kids' club! The staff—Mod, Aoy, Geegy, and Sofar—are incredibly friendly and always smiling, even when busy. The cooking class with Chef Ko was entertaining, and the Thai desserts were delicious. The facility is clean and colorful, with a cozy indoor play area featuring a trampoline, ball pit, slides, and climbing net. There's also a LEGO room and amazing activities throughout the week.
Restaurant Malaengpor: We had breakfast buffets, plus lunch and dinner à la carte. The staff is wonderful—welcoming, accommodating, and efficient. The breakfast buffet was extensive with diverse cuisines. The à la carte menu is equally impressive; the team and chef can prepare allergen-friendly dishes upon request. When I complained about tough chicken in one dish, they immediately apologized and removed it from the bill.
In-Room Dining: Ordering requires downloading their app, which felt inconvenient for a short trip. I wanted to confirm allergy accommodations with a person before ordering. They eventually sent a physical menu, and I ordered by phone, though I didn't feel very welcomed. At one point, I tried to add a note but the operator had already ended the call.
Food Truck & Pool Area: The food here is amazing and perfect for poolside meals. The pool is well laid out, and our kids had a great time.
Rooms (D Wing Lotus): We stayed on the top floor with breathtaking views of the sea and mountains. Unfortunately, we were located next to the food service area for the premium lounge, and our room had a significant ant problem. Friends on the same floor didn't experience this. Room service sprayed pest control chemicals without informing us—we discovered it only after walking back in and had to air the room out. Daily afterward, I requested the cleaning team avoid spraying. Reception offered to change rooms, but moving as a family of four mid-holiday wasn't worth the hassle, so we managed—packing toiletries and sealing clothes in drawers.
Renovation: Part of the hotel was under renovation, but we weren't disturbed by noise thanks to the property's size.
Yoga Studio: I attended a session so far with Annie. Since I was the only participant that day, she was able to give me personalized attention and tailor the workout to my fitness level. It was a great learning experience, and I highly recommend trying it out.

Another Great Stay with Excellent Platinum Recognition
I stayed at Pullman Phuket Karon Beach Resort for two nights (10–12 July 2026) as an ALL Platinum member, and once again, the hotel delivered a wonderful experience.
Before arrival, the hotel emailed me to ask if I had any special requests, which was a nice touch. I also received a Suite Night Upgrade from a Junior Suite Garden View to a Superior Suite Sea View. Upon entering the room, I found a welcome amenity with fruits, snacks, and a personalized welcome card waiting for me.
One of the highlights of this stay was the staff. Khun Hong at the Front Office was incredibly welcoming and continued checking in throughout my stay to make sure everything was going well. I'd also like to thank Khun Chompoo from Housekeeping for keeping the room spotless every day and paying attention to every detail. It was also nice to see Christian personally greeting guests around the resort, showing how involved the management team is.
Breakfast at Malangpor Restaurant offered a good variety of choices. As an ALL Platinum member, I was pleasantly surprised that Sparkling Wine was available during breakfast. It's a small detail, but one that really enhances the experience, and it's now on par with several other Pullman properties in Phuket and Khao Lak.
Panorama Lounge currently opens only for Evening Cocktails from 5:00–7:00 PM. I had mentioned this in a previous review, but it's worth saying again—the lounge food is incredibly generous. Instead of serving just light snacks, they offer substantial dishes such as pizza, kebabs, Thai curry with pineapple and shrimp, along with other hot dishes. Honestly, I was completely full afterwards and didn't even need to go out for dinner.
On my second evening, I had dinner at Malangpor Restaurant and ordered the Thai basil stir-fry (Pad Krapao). As a Thai guest, I can honestly say it tasted just like a good local made-to-order restaurant. If you're looking for authentic Thai flavors, I highly recommend trying it.
Since my stay included a Saturday night, I also enjoyed the Fire Show. It wasn't just a performance—the team did a fantastic job interacting with the audience and creating a lively atmosphere. Definitely one of the highlights of the evening.
The resort itself remains beautiful, with multiple swimming pools, a 24-hour fitness center, Kids Club, and direct access to Karon Beach. I also enjoyed seeing the resort's cats wandering around the lobby area. I already knew the resort had peacocks, but this time I spotted another one with beautiful white-colored feathers, which was a pleasant surprise.
Overall, Pullman Phuket Karon Beach Resort continues to be one of my favorite Accor properties in Thailand. The Platinum recognition, warm hospitality, excellent lounge offering, and attention to detail make me want to return again and again.

Pickleball at Pullman
It's a great resort to stay in! The pickleball court and coaches here are the best! No better way to vacation. Lookout for Den! He is a great coach here, get a game with him! Absolutely worth it!
