Perched atop a small hill overlooking the Andaman Sea, just off the main road and a hop, skip and a jump from Kata Beach, this attractive, Thai-style hotel offers a wonderful family retreat to Phuket. This is the perfect spot for diving, snorkelling, and enjoying the sandy beach, and the surrounding area offers a variety of shops and restaurants in addition to a traditional Thai market. Great hotel for staying with the famoly
Convenient location, walking distance to Karon Besch and the streets full of restaurants. We stayed with the family and enjoyed our stay. Special thanks to the hosts and Mr Fred for extra attention and true hospitality.

Great location - amazing staff
We really enjoyed our stay at Chanalai Hillside Resort. What really stood out was the staff — everyone was friendly and helpful, with a special mention to Nuch, who really looked after us during our stay. She was fantastic at arranging trips and helping with anything we needed, which made everything so easy.
The hotel is in a lovely, quiet location at one end of Karon Beach, away from the hustle and bustle but still within easy reach of everything. We found getting around very easy, with Bolt taxis being particularly cheap and convenient.
Breakfast was plentiful, with plenty of choice to set you up for the day. As the hotel was very quiet while we were there, the bar was hardly manned, so it lacked a little atmosphere — although this wasn’t really an issue for us.
The only real downside was the beds, which were rock hard! Thankfully, after busy days exploring and enjoying the area, we were usually tired enough that it didn’t affect our sleep too much.
Overall, a lovely peaceful stay with genuinely wonderful staff, especially Nuch. We’d happily return.
