Perched atop a small hill overlooking the Andaman Sea, just off the main road and a hop, skip and a jump from Kata Beach, this attractive, Thai-style hotel offers a wonderful family retreat to Phuket. We stayed at Chanalia Hotel for 6 weeks and had a wonderful experience. We were especially grateful to the Duty Manager Pattarawan Painujit "AM" who went above & beyond to help us whenever we extended our stay. She was always so helpful & accommodating for us to stay longer . We really appreciated her kindness & assistance.
We would also to recognise a few outstanding members of the breakfast team. Hotel Manager Nethichet Srilcanjanabhira jata "Alk" & staff attended Nanpasa Adsamart " New",. Their service was exceptional. They were always friendly, attentive & made our breakfast such a pleasure each morning. And a very special mention to a wonderful Pastry Chef Prayut Tonman "Yut." Who always went out of his way to greet us each day & had a lovely conversation. And of course his beautiful breads & pastries were absolutely delicious. Everything was made with such care & skills.
We also want to thank all the reception staff, porters & cleaners, who were always so friendly, welcoming & helpful. Nothing was to much troube , and they were always ready to assist us with a smile.
It is the wonderful staff who really make a hotel special, & Chanalia Hotel certainly has some amazing people. Thank you all for making our 6 weeks stay so enjoyable & memorable. We will definitely miss you all! Definitely will be coming back . Highly recommended 5 stars 🌟
Very good stay, This is our 2nd time stay here but it feels the same as before, very good staffs specially reception name Kevin and Tang, for sure we will be back again in the future thanks team!
The location gave 10/10 vibes far away from all the noise. The rooms were always neat (no smoking) with pool view and very spacious. A walking distance to the Karon beach. Breakfast is wonderful with many options 😋. They also have 24/7 front desk service, very friendly staff especially Kevin and TM.

Great staff at this hotel. Good location. The pool area and sunbeds let the place down. Very out dated area. Also as a British traveller I found the Eastern European guests very rude and no manners that were also there at the same time. All though this is not the hotels fault I found it difficult to watch them never saying thank you to staff etc. They may also be short staffed in housekeeping as we did have to chase a few things during the stay but they were resolved.
