Great hotel, great location, excellent for families

Best place in Phuket
This was our fifth stay at InterContinental Phuket. When we arrived, we honestly thought it might be our last – simply because after five visits we felt it was probably time to discover somewhere new.
When we left, we knew with absolute certainty that we would be coming back.
The reason is the people. After so many stays, this hotel genuinely feels like our home away from home.
A very special thank you goes to Franky, who is probably responsible for 90% of that feeling. Whenever we needed anything, he responded immediately, took ownership and made sure it was resolved. When a room change was necessary, it was never treated as simply moving us from A to B – the hotel turned it into a positive experience and offered an upgrade as a gesture of goodwill.
But what we remember most are the things nobody was obliged to do.
Our little daughter developed a fever during the stay. Franky knew we were having a difficult time and arranged for fruit and a beautiful get-well card to be delivered to our room. We were also surprised with a massage voucher. I was genuinely moved by the kindness behind these gestures.
And then there was Milky from housekeeping, who deserves a special mention of her own. Somehow she always seemed to know when we were coming back to the room. We would return to find a bath prepared for us, a handwritten note, or wonderful towel animals waiting on the bed for our daughter. These little surprises made us smile every single day.
The same warmth is everywhere. The team at Pinto is fantastic. When they realised this was our fifth visit and remembered that we love mimosas, they surprised our whole table with a round. Completely unnecessary – and exactly the kind of gesture you never forget.
The food throughout the resort remains exceptional. Breakfast at Pinto is one of our favourite hotel breakfasts, and we consistently eat extremely well at Pinto, Jaras and the beachfront restaurant. The wine selection is excellent too.
Our daughter loves the kids’ club. It is spotless, beautifully maintained and everything still looks cared for and almost new. We particularly appreciate that the air conditioning is kept at a comfortable temperature for small children rather than freezing cold.
The pools are beautiful, the gym is excellent and the entire resort remains remarkably well maintained. Every time we return, something seems to have been improved.
After five stays, of course we have occasionally encountered small issues. What makes this hotel special is what happens when something goes wrong. Someone responds, someone takes ownership, and you feel that they genuinely care about making it right.
Beautiful luxury resorts are easy to find in Thailand. People who make you feel this cared for are not.
We arrived thinking it was time to discover somewhere new. We left knowing we simply cannot give up coming back to these people.
Franky and the entire team – thank you. Our “last visit” definitely wasn’t our last. We are already planning out jan/feb getaway.

Warm Hospitality and Wonderful Flavours
We had a wonderful experience at Pinto, InterContinental Phuket Resort. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel genuinely welcome and took great care of us throughout the entire meal. The service was excellent: warm, attentive and professional, but always natural and relaxed. Nothing felt forced or overly formal. The team was friendly, thoughtful and clearly focused on making sure we were enjoying our time. The food was equally impressive. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavour and made with high-quality ingredients. You can really feel the attention to detail, both in the kitchen and in the service. A special thank you to Pui, Preaw, Ikkyu, Poo, Put and Mes for their kindness, smiles and genuine hospitality. They made the experience even more memorable. Pinto is a great example of what dining at InterContinental Phuket should be: excellent food, outstanding service and truly warm hospitality. We would happily return.
Front Beach Room with Lounge Access
We stayed for 3 Days 2 nights at Beach Club zone. The room is in good condition, spacious, convenient, with bathtub. The lounge club also benefit 2 times a day. Such a lovely.

Well rested
We booked the Club Access rooms because we wanted ocean view and close to beach. The mountain side is fine just that you have to walk a little bit to get to the beach or wait for golf cart shuttle. Special thanks to Maggie, our personal aide, for taking good care of us during our stay. Also, Ja was extremely patient with us in the Club Lounge, getting us whatever we needed. Two staff that deserve our highest praise for their level of care and service.
