Excellent 5 star resort with good beach access
Excellent beach access from beachfront house/villa. Very comfortable and spacious rooms and very good turn down service.
Some works on site and temporary facades may impinge on your overall experience. Xana beachfront bar was good and service very quick.
Overall the service in breakfast areas is also very good, both at market hall and bodega restaurants. Limited vegetarian options in some restaurants.
Airport transfer service and luggage transfer service to rooms is good.
Itβs a little bit far for you to go out into town from laguna area if you are staying in Angsana, will take a good 20mt walk for you to reach the town area outside laguna and there do not appear to be any shuttles to the town from Angsana which would have been nice.
The beach area is excellent, if you wander out first thing in morning it may look a little littered from the night before from various bars etc but they clean it up very quickly. It would have been nice for the staff to have informed us about how to access beach area as we had to figure out where the gates were etc.
I also found it a bit strange that the staff came to take pictures of the minibar etc when we were about to checkout. This could have been handled a bit more discretely.
The spa was also very good and clean.
Overall it is a very good 5 star resort with great access to the beach and very good service from staff. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Some minor issues - the works on site leading to closure of some pools, access to town, increasing vegetarian options could help.

Excellent Experience
It is not a hotel but a paradise π Beach, pool, lake, everythingβ¦ the staff is the best. Food at the restaurant is good. Hotel has shuttle bus to the city and just everything is there I did not want to leave the place The staff Faii you are a sweetheart β€οΈ Thank you for everything
