Just back from six nights in a Deluxe room at The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort and it delivered from start to finish. The accommodation itself is lovely, and honestly they've thought of everything — nothing you need is missing. The pool is quiet, the service is genuinely warm and welcoming at every single touchpoint, not just check-in. Tubkaak beach itself is peaceful rather than a party scene, so if you're after a proper switch-off and reset, this is exactly the spot. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for that mix of quality and calm. Thank you to the whole team — you nailed it.
We did the 'Thai Pain away' 2 hours massage with P Jen & P White, the services since we enter are top notch. We feel the good vibes, spa room are incredibly nice with high ceilings. Massage was great, thanks to our lovely therapist! Reception at Spa is also very nice. Totally worth your time !
Tubkaak Resort had been on my list for a long time, and I’m so glad we finally got to stay here.
We felt genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived at the car park. Everyone was so friendly and smiley, which immediately set a positive tone for the trip. K. Mind, who showed us around the resort and our room, was exceptionally warm and caring. She noticed that some of us were coughing and immediately offered to bring ginger tea to our room. She also explained the facilities clearly and gave us some great recommendations for activities during our stay.
One of the highlights was hiking Khao Ngon Nak with K. Farak, who is also a boxing and Pilates instructor at the resort. He was knowledgeable, funny and great company throughout the hike. At one point, a random person started following our group, and K. Farak was very attentive and made sure we were comfortable and safe. We felt well looked after the entire time. He also happens to have great photography skills, so we came back with plenty of amazing photos and views!
This trip was also a last-minute surprise hen trip for one of our friends, and the resort team was incredibly helpful in making it happen. I secretly handed some decorations to the staff and let them know when our group would be out. They took care of everything and paid so much attention to the little details. Our friend was over the moon when we came back to the room and she saw the surprise. A huge thank you to everyone involved for being so accommodating, especially with our last-minute requests.
One thing that truly made this resort special was the atmosphere. It was exceptionally tranquil, with lush greenery surrounding us everywhere we walked. We were constantly accompanied by subtle, soothing sounds of nature—the gentle stream running alongside the walkway and the cicadas sounds throughout the resort created such a peaceful environment. The beach was just a few steps from our room, with breathtaking sunset views framed by the surrounding islands. Despite being so close to everything, the resort still managed to make our stay feel wonderfully private.
As for the room, I particularly loved the shower. The water pressure was spot on — exactly what you want after a hot and sweaty day! My only small suggestions would be the air conditioning and the bathroom amenities. The air conditioning generally felt a bit too warm, and we had to set it to the lowest temperature to make the room comfortably cool. The shampoo and shower gel came in ceramic bottles that had to be poured into your hand, which I found a little awkward to use. Pump bottles would probably be much more practical.
I slept on an extra bed and was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it was — neither too soft nor too hard. I slept really well and woke up with no backache at all.
Breakfast was delicious with a good variety, and we also really enjoyed dinner at the restaurant. I’d definitely recommend having a drink or dinner there around sunset — the view and atmosphere are lovely.
There are also comfy bean chairs in front of the restaurant, where we took our bottle of wine one evening. Without us even asking, one of the staff members (unfortunately I didn’t get his name) came over with a bucket of ice to keep our wine chilled. It was a simple gesture, but his quick and genuine thoughtfulness really stood out to us.
Overall, our group had a fantastic time at Tubkaak. What stood out most wasn’t just the beautiful resort, but how genuinely warm, observant and thoughtful the staff were throughout our stay. We honestly wished we could have stayed longer and would definitely love to come back!
This resort is a true gem, located in the Krabi’s Tubkaak region. It’s a quiet place, away from the hustle of Ao Nang and Krabi. The staff is wonderful and always there to help. We had a great time. Ps: for those interested te travel to Hong Island or even Raliay Beach: just book your trip at the beach. Much cheaper then booking with operators
I never write reviews, but for this one…I have to.
I would give this resort 6 stars for the service if I could. Every single staff — front desk, restaurant, spa, cleaners, beach — top notch. The service is better than most 5 stars hotels.
The room, facilities, activities and everything else are great.
