Nice surprise considering bad reviews
I was expecting the worst after reading reviews and actually tried to cancel. However when we arrived the man in reception was lovely and we were taken to our 2 bed apartment. This was beautiful, clean and so spacious. We had an enormous balcony which overlooked the road and the beach was just opposite side of road. Yes, the overall building could do with a spruce up but that's accommodation in Thailand for you anyway. We paid a cheap price so if your looking for perfection then stay at the Dusit down the road for a small fortune. We had a lovely week stay and I can be fussy!

Lovely accommodation in need of updating
There are a lot of reviews on here saying pretty much what I am going to say, so I'll keep it brief! We booked this property in Krabi for two nights last last minute – so late in fact, we didn't even have time to ensure breakfast was included (it wasn't, the restaurant was closed at this time). The suite we had was amazing, it's a serviced apartment rather than an actual hotel. Very spacious kitchen/living area, with cooking hobs, microwave, cutlery, plates and glasses etc, everything you need for a self-service stay. The two nice en-suite bedrooms were also comfortable, and the (rather basic) showers worked (there's also a bathtub). Finally, a huge patio/balcony offers space for sunlounging/parties etc.
We did not have ANY of the problems I'm seeing people mention here. The place could do with updating and renovating, and yes the linens could have been newer, but at this price perfectly acceptable and it was a very nice stay.
No breakfast included or even a restaurant/bar was a bit of a bummer, but again, it's not a hotel and there are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby.
My one criticism would be that the guy from Pelican who we had been communicating with, who met us at the property on arrival, promptly disappeared and did not subsequently answer any of our queries. But we were able to find housekeeping and get everything we needed.
Overall great place but yes updating and renovating is called for.

Stay away
Stay away, hotel in bad shape There are only a few guests here and now I see why Beds terrible, no staff restaurant closed. Save your money and headache Stay anywhere else Pictures are not what this place looks like. It's too bad as the pictures looked amazing We got fooled
Photos are very outdated
Room does the job although cleaning is poor, under the beds had lots of trash left under them. However, the overall hotel is nothing like the photos. The photos are old the hotel is very run down the pool is unusable and the other rooms around us were completely empty and their pools had black water in which wasn't at all nice to look at. Definitely wouldn't stay here again
Fraud!!!
The property is in very bad condition. Photos are old, reality is very different. We made a reservation and when arrived we realized that apartments need significant maintenance and pictures were misleading. We discussed it with property manager and they offered us money refund so we moved to another hotel. But after one month we are still waiting for refund (about 600 dollars) and property manager continues to ignore our messages. I read (unfortunately after this happened) that this is quite common practice for this hotel to promise money refund and not to do it. Krabi area is amazing, but I would recommend to avoid staying in this particular property.
