I was surprised to learn that this is apparently a five-star hotel. The staff's hospitality is certainly excellent. However, the facilities are terrible. It’s old, and there were issues like the hot water not working and the lights failing to turn on. The shower head is broken. The worst part was when I tried to use the pool on my last night and found the water level had dropped by half. The staff said even it happen sometimes...Haha. How would you feel if you went to take a bath and were told there was no water?

Incredible Stay at W SAMUI!
Amazing hotel! Pei Pei Cookie and Tony made this trip so amazing! Food is incredible!!!! The catered for my daughter for gluten free perfectly in all of the hotel restaurants!
The atmosphere in the rooms was incredible! The beach is phenomenal and everyone was involved in our perfect stay making us feel so good!
We even had a few meals in the room Which were amazing! 5 stars!

From the very first moment, he made us feel comfortable, relaxed, and genuinely cared for. I was traveling alone with my two daughters, and he was incredibly patient, kind, and amazing with the kids, making the whole photoshoot feel fun and natural.
