Thailand is known as "the Land of Smiles" well at Explora they take this quite literally. We didn't encounter any staff be they from reception, the bar, housekeeping, the restaurant or kitchen that didn't great you every time with warm smile and greeting. The plant is stylish modern & minimalist in construction, the pool spectacular and inviting. The rooms are bright modern & well air conditioned. The shower however was a major frustration. It went from warm to scalding hot to cold without warning. The pressure continually dropped & sometimes failed to recover. These are the sort of things that take the shine off an otherwise wonderful experience. And shouldn't be happening at a place like Explora. The bar has a never ending array of cocktails etc and the "happy hour" that actually runs for 2, can be enjoyed while sitting in the pool. The restaurant is very good with variety of Western & Thai dishes and the breakfast are excellent with a very good egg station. Now I'm going to mention as many of the exceptional staff as I can remember. Andy, Harry, Yok, Som, Asma, Ing, Moe, DeDe, Kate, JJ, Tikki, PuPae, Jewel, MinHtet, Liam & Mimosa. Now if I've forgotten you my apologies but you are in my thoughts as well.
We bought the buy-one-get-one couple’s massage from Explorar Spa, and it was an amazing session. We really liked the masseuse, very professional and well-trained. They served us tea before and after the session. The atmosphere, ambience, and calmness were all so special. They also let us test the type of oil. We love the experience. I would definitely recommend coming here.

A really beautiful hotel with access to the beach. The food here is fantastic, and all of the staff are very kind and helpful. It’s not easy to walk to any restaurants/shops so you will need to use taxis. The rooms are very spacious and clean.
Amazing stay. Great staff and beautiful day spa. Highly recommend.
