We stayed here for 9 nights at the end of a 4 week tour of Thailand. This has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at and I have travelled a lot. Myself and my daughter stayed in a pool villa room which was amazing. The room was large, plenty of space for our suitcases, and the outdoor bathroom was great if a little warm. I did not get bitten whilst there despite using the bathroom during the night- housekeeping come round twice a day to tidy, clean and put mosquito repellants out. The breakfasts were beyond amazing - a huge choice of a la carte together with the usual cereals, yogurts, fruit and breads. As we had our own pool, we didn't use the 2 main pools but did spend lunchtime at the beach bar and during the second happy hour early evening. Each and every one of the staff went out of the way to say hello every time you passed by them. A special shout out to Kru Beer who gave my daughter a complimentary Muay Thai lesson ( in a small group). He was very professional and when he spotted us at a Muay Thai fight night at the stadium in Chaweng, where he was a referee, he went out of his way to say hello, take pics and wave from the ring. In my opinion, Cheong Mon is one of the nicest places to stay in Koh Samui and I would have no hesitation in staying at this hotel again should I ever return to the island. It is very close to restaurants and a 7/11 and it is very easy to get a taxi ( one is stationed just outside reception) or catch a shared one just opposite the 7/11.
We just wrapped up a wonderful week at Sala Samui Choengmon Beach. The resort is peaceful, beautifully maintained, clean, and offers a truly authentic and quiet beach vibe. Our room was spacious, the food was great and the amenities were fantastic. What made it extra special was the wonderful staff who were warm and welcoming to our family. Great value overall and highly recommended!
What a stunning resort, we had 5 days pure luxury during a 3 week trip to Thailand. From the minute you arrive to when you leave the attention to detail, service and support is first class. A special think you to Jocelyn Kong who was truly amazing and on hand for everything we needed. The resort, pools and beach are very special. The bungalow with private pool was amazing and really topped off the holiday. 🙏🏻
A very special stay made more special by the attentive and wonderful staff team especially the restaurant team.
