Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We had a wonderful stay at Vana Belle and were especially impressed by the staff. Everyone was attentive, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay enjoyable. A special shoutout to Romi, who was absolutely wonderful throughout our stay. He was extremely attentive and consistently checked in to make sure everything was going well.
On our second day, the coffee machine in our room blew a fuse and caused the power to go out. The staff responded quickly and made sure the issue was taken care of as soon as possible. They even brought us fresh coconuts and fruit as an apology for the inconvenience, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Romi also surprised us with cake and champagne in our room to celebrate my birthday, which made the stay even more special.
The food overall was very good. Our only issue was with the temperature of the hot items at the breakfast buffet. We normally went to breakfast right when it opened, but unfortunately some of the food that was supposed to be hot was already cold. Romi spoke with the kitchen after we mentioned it, and we appreciated him addressing it, although the temperature was still inconsistent on some mornings. The quality and taste of the food were good; it was really just the serving temperature that could be improved.
I also really enjoyed the gym. It had a good selection of equipment and was always very clean. I especially appreciated the small details: canned water was restocked every day, and there were always plenty of clean towels available. I worked out regularly during our stay, so having a well-maintained and properly equipped gym was important to me.
Our room was great and housekeeping did an excellent job. We were out diving during the day, and it was always nice to come back to a freshly cleaned room with refreshed towels. The resort was also extremely quiet. We never had any problems with noise, which made it very easy to relax when we returned from diving.
We also spent a day at the spa and had a great experience. The spa was relaxing, the service was excellent, and it was a wonderful way to spend one of our non-diving day.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Vana Belle. The service was the standout for us, especially the attention and hospitality from Romi. Between the beautiful and quiet room, excellent housekeeping, well-equipped gym, spa, and attentive staff, we had a very comfortable stay. Aside from the inconsistent temperature of the breakfast buffet, our experience was excellent and we would happily stay here again.

The property is beautiful, pristine, and exceptionally well maintained. Our ocean view room was absolutely gorgeous. The views were simply to die for, and the room itself was incredibly spacious, beautifully appointed, and ultra luxurious. Waking up to that view was definitely one of the highlights of our stay.
The beach was clean and beautifully maintained, making the entire resort feel peaceful and inviting. The breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety and quality.
But what truly stood out for us was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly warm, friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home, and their hospitality was truly top notch. It is rare to come across a team where the warmth feels so natural and sincere.
A special mention to our assistant, Frang, who was absolutely wonderful. He was attentive, thoughtful, and always one step ahead in making sure we had everything we needed. He went above and beyond throughout our stay and made the experience even more special for us.
Overall, Vana Belle is a beautiful property made exceptional by its people. From the gorgeous ocean views and ultra-luxurious rooms to the pristine surroundings and genuinely warm hospitality, we had a memorable stay and would happily recommend Vana Belle to anyone looking for a luxurious and peaceful escape in Koh Samui.
Rebecca and I just got back to Sydney after a lovely stay at Vana Belle, and a big part of that was our butler, Tik.
Tik looked after us from the moment we arrived. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she always seemed to know what we needed before we asked. Every evening there was a little treat waiting for us in our room, which we came to really look forward to after a day out. It's a small thing, but it showed how much care she put into our stay.
The resort itself is beautiful, with great views, a friendly team and a calm, peaceful feel. But it's people like Tik who make you want to come back.

Tucked away on Chaweng Noi, Vana Belle sits on a wide, tranquil stretch of beach with pristine water and minimal surrounding foot traffic.
Arriving through a discreet gate, a winding forest driveway leads to a dramatic open-air lobby revealing sweeping views of the ocean below.
Greeted by our personal butler, Naomi, our Marriott Gold status and FHR honeymoon booking secured us a magnificent room upgrade alongside generous perks, including unlimited prosecco at breakfast. Communication with Naomi via WhatsApp was instant.
The room was generously proportioned, featuring a separate walk-in closet with ample space for our two large suitcases and two cabin bags, an open-concept bathroom, a plush king bed with customizable pillows and mattress, and a private terrace dipping pool overlooking the forest and sea.
Housekeeping was exceptionally respectful of our belongings, instantly replacing stained bedding after fresh flowers left faint marks, and leaving a thoughtful note when a laptop was left outside the safe.
The resort excels in personalized, attentive details. Noticing we smoked during check-in, an ashtray was promptly delivered to our terrace, and restaurant staff later brought meal receipts directly to the designated smoking area so we wouldn't be interrupted. Throughout our stay, we enjoyed daily room sweets, fresh coconuts waiting after a temple excursion, a flower-filled bath, and a surprise setup on our final night with prosecco, fresh fruit, and our favorite mango sticky rice. The resort's beach (gorgeous!) service was seamless, offering loungers equipped with call buttons, fresh water on arrival, and a cool artificial waterfall built into natural rocks. Dining at Panali was outstanding, especially the weekly "Thai Night," which featured beachside tables, live cooking stations, exceptional curries, traditional dancing, and a fire show.
While the overall experience was impeccable, a few details could be refined. The main swimming pool appears somewhat dated, with an exposed pipe visible near the water line, and beach loungers could be spaced slightly further apart for additional privacy. Service at the beach also slowed down noticeably on one afternoon while the resort hosted a private wedding, and turndown service was missed on our first night.
Nonetheless, the flawless airport transfer and heartfelt notes from Naomi made for an unforgettable stay. Thank you also to Pum.
The Vana Belle is on a very special beach , low on people high on perfect sand and water . The stay though is really made by the staff , on this occasion Tik our Butler was one in a million , very attentive, no request ever a problem and anticipated our every need . The property should be very proud of Tik and the way she looks after guests … She made our stay perfect
