Take advantage of recreation opportunities including an outdoor pool and a 24-hour fitness centre. This hotel also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and babysitting (surcharge).
As a travel agent, I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel during my trip in order to experience the property firsthand and be able to recommend it to my clients.

Overall, the hotel has some positive aspects, particularly the welcoming staff and cleanliness. However, several points could be improved to meet guests’ expectations, especially for longer stays.
Unfortunately, I did not feel that any additional effort was made, especially considering that I had clearly informed you that I was staying at the hotel as a travel agent. I found this rather disappointing and, honestly, not very fair play from a professional point of view.
This was perfect for our family group holiday, the staff were superb and very friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was exceptional. Direct access to a stunning beach with beanbags to relax on. One member of staff stood out from the rest (Lyn ) , always happy to serve us with a big smile. Well done to all the staff at OZO hotel, hopefully we will see you all again in the future, keep up the good work
Breakfast, beach and staff were all amazing. Thai hospitality at its best. Clean and safe and close to grocery and restaurants and walking distance to Central Mall.
We spent 5 nights at the Ozo Chaweng as a family of 4. Very clean property, nice big pool with a beachfront bar. Nice clean rooms. Lovely breakfast. Easy access to Chaweng and Central Samui . Beach is beautiful. Be careful of jellyfish, our son was stung on the first day, but hotel staff reacted quickly. Would definitely recommend this property!
What should have been a relaxing family holiday at OZO Chaweng Samui ended with 30,000 Thai baht disappearing from our room safe.
We stayed at the hotel for 12 nights and kept our cash securely inside the room safe. After checking out, we travelled to our next destination and discovered that 30,000 baht was missing.
We contacted the hotel and asked management to investigate properly.
Given the seriousness of the situation, we expected a thorough investigation into who had accessed our rooms, including key-card/access records, CCTV, housekeeping activity, safe access and the staff who entered the rooms.
The response, however, left us extremely concerned.
We were told that the hotel had carried out internal checks and spoken to relevant staff, but because the money had not been found during the room inspection or in Lost & Found, the hotel could not establish what had happened.
But the money was there when we secured it in the safe — and it was gone when we discovered it later.
That is the issue.
We asked for the matter to be escalated to the police so that there could be an independent investigation. The hotel said it would cooperate with the authorities, but ultimately told us that we needed to make the police report ourselves and provide them with the reference number.
For us, this is much bigger than losing 30,000 baht.
If guests cannot have confidence that their belongings are secure inside a hotel room safe, what level of security can they reasonably expect?
We are posting this review because other travellers — particularly families carrying cash, passports or valuables — deserve to know about our experience before deciding where to stay.
We hope the hotel takes this review seriously, preserves all relevant records and fully cooperates with the police so that the circumstances can finally be established.
Think twice about what you leave in the safe.
