La Vida Samui

This resort is just beautiful. I am a solo female traveller, overseas for the first time in quite a while. After a very long travel day I was a bit anxious to arrive at the accomodation, but those feelings disappeared immediately! The resort is simply stunning. It has a boutique feel, so it’s not super big or busy, but extremely good value for money. The common areas are immaculately maintained. The room was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The bed was comfy and everything you could need was provided. Staff were always friendly. Buffet breakfast was fantastic. It’s a bit further out of the main Chaweng strip, but it felt more peaceful. Only downside was the beach out the front was not swimmable due to very low tide at all times. My one piece of feedback: the lighting in the bathroom mirror was terrible, and there was no other mirror in the main room. Would 10000% recommend!!

Great facilities, excellent location, and very comfortable rooms! Loved everything about La Vida! Close enough to Chaweng to walk to many restaurants, bars, and shopping in city center, but far enough away to limit noise from foot traffic and activities happening in city center. The seaside suite was perfect! Comfortable, spacious, and with great views of the pool areas and outfoor bar! I highly recommend you pay the extra money and upgrade to stay in the seaside suite. It is worth it! A quick 1 - 2 minutes walk to the beach from the rooms! The pool areas are wonderful and perfect to enjoy private swimming and family fun. The buffet breakfast was good, not great, with a few different food options that helped start our day off on a positive note. Loved the outfoor dining area! Fitness room is small but has enough equipment to get the job done while on vacation. Service by everyone from front desk to dining staff was excellent! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely consider staying at La Vida on our next trip to Koh Samui!

We had 9 nights at the La Vida hotel, what a beautiful beautique hotel, immaculate and clean and the staff were so friendly and could not do enough to make our stay feel so special. The hotel grounds are beautiful and quiet and the beech is amazing, food is excellent and rooms are very nice. I cannot find any fault with this hotel and the location, it is the best holiday we have had, ideal for couples, very romantic setting. I would highly recommend this hotel. stunning. Very quiet location but walking distance to all the action. Wish we were still there, thinking about going back next year, that is how good it was.
