This beautifully furnished hotel in traditional southern Thai style is located on the east side of the island; between Chaweng and Lamai beaches. It enjoys an ideal setting surrounded by tropical gardens, where guests can relax and enjoy the stunning sea views. The centre of the city can easily be reached on foot or by public transport as well.
Spend the day on the private beach or dip into one of the 2 outdoor swimming pools. This hotel also features tour/ticket assistance and a banquet hall.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We have already stayed at 4 hotels of roughly the same level and price range - Crystal Beach, Mae Nam, Chaweng and others. So this review is based entirely on our personal experience and comparison.
And this hotel has definitely taken 🥇 first place for us! We highly recommend staying here. 🧡
🥇 Service This is probably the best team of staff we have experienced in all the hotels we stayed at. Everyone is extremely attentive, helpful and friendly. They genuinely try to help with everything, and the whole team works very smoothly together. The staff really create a warm, welcoming and peaceful atmosphere. Everyone is so positive!
🥇 The Hotel It is simply a feast for the eyes! 😍 The most beautiful swimming pool, literally stretching into the sky 🌅
And all around there are palm trees 🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴, with beautiful bungalows, the sea and… peace and quiet! This is quite rare on Koh Samui. During our stay, most of the guests were couples, so the atmosphere was very calm and relaxing.
🥇 Beach & Snorkeling 🪸🐟🐠🐡🦀 The hotel has 3 small private beaches! And these are exactly the places where you can see coral and lots of fish.
The right-hand side of the central beach is particularly special - this is where, in our opinion, you can find one of the best spots for snorkeling on Koh Samui. 🤿
Compared with Silver Beach, there are fewer pieces of broken coral, it is not as shallow, and the entrance to the water is sandy and comfortable. We didn’t even need to wear water shoes all the time.
The best part is that you can start snorkeling right from the shore. There are beautiful spots from the very beginning, and then further out around the rocks. 🐠
🥇 Room Spacious, clean and comfortable, with everything you need for a pleasant stay.
🥇 Food 🍳🥭🍹 Breakfast is served buffet-style, with a very good selection of ready-made dishes, cold cuts, yogurts and fresh fruit. Omelets and scrambled eggs are cooked to order, and you can have them prepared according to your preferences.
We also had lunch and dinner at the same restaurant several times. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced.
And definitely try the cocktails and fresh fruit shakes by the pool! 🍹🧡
🥇 Massage 💆♀️ There is a massage salon on the hotel premises. We really enjoyed the massage - it was truly high-quality and professional. You can tell that the therapists have a good understanding of anatomy and really know what they are doing. It doesn’t feel like a routine massage at all 1- they work with your body with genuine knowledge and expertise.
I will add lots of photos and videos because it is difficult to convey the beauty of this place in words.
This is definitely a place we would love to return to. ❤️

The location was good, the beach and pool were very nice, but the room was a bit poor. The breakfast was poor, the room had no amenities, we had to tell them to bring it one by one.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Place That Will Always Have a Special Place in Our Hearts ❤️ This was our second stay at the Coral Cliff Beach Resort, and once again this beautiful place completely stole our hearts. After spending more than five weeks here, we can honestly say that this is so much more than just a hotel – it truly feels like a little piece of paradise. The breathtaking location, the stunning infinity pool, and what we believe is the most beautiful beach on Koh Samui for snorkeling make this resort absolutely unforgettable. The crystal-clear water, delicious breakfast, excellent food, beautiful rooms, and the perfectly maintained gardens make every single day a joy. But what truly makes this place extraordinary are the people. Every member of the staff, from the reception team to the restaurant staff and the housekeeping team, welcomes guests with genuine warmth, kindness, and care. You don’t just feel like a guest here – you feel at home. Unfortunately, our holiday took an unexpected turn when a serious illness forced us to stay much longer than planned. We had to change rooms several times, but the entire team did everything they could to make sure we could remain at the resort. Their compassion, flexibility, and support during such a difficult time meant more to us than words can express. We will never forget their kindness. A very special thank you goes to Anan from the restaurant. His warm smile, positive energy, and genuine friendliness made every day brighter. People like him are the reason guests come back. And of course, we cannot forget the newest “restaurant manager” – the adorable little squirrel Djschu! This tiny celebrity brings smiles to everyone, young and old, and has become a wonderful part of the Coral Cliff Beach Resort experience. We came here as a family and are leaving with unforgettable memories, grateful hearts, and the feeling that we have found a second home. Thank you to the entire Coral Cliff Beach Resort team for making our stay so special. We will definitely be back. ❤️

The most beautiful hotel ever! The rooms were immaculate and cleaned thoroughly every day, the staff were some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met and couldn’t do enough for you. Hotel is right on the beach with a private area for onsite snorkelling (gear provided free by the hotel) and has 2 pools (one infinity) with a gorgeous view of the island. We got taxis to most places as it is a while to get into Chaweng/Bophut but was only about a 5 minute journey to Lamai and taxis were fairly cheap so we didn’t mind! On site restaurant that has a lovely breakfast selection and a wide variety of choice for lunch/dinner, cocktails were 10/10 also. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay in Koh Samui, we didn’t want to leave! Thankyou☺️
The Resort has huge potential thanks to its absolutely stunning tropical setting. The resort sits in what truly feels like a little paradise, with lush greenery, beautiful views, and a very charming layout. Honestly, I often wondered why no international luxury hotel chain has taken over this property, because with the right investment it could easily become a spectacular high-end resort.
The natural setting is the real highlight. The small beach, the landscaping, and the overall atmosphere are beautiful. That said, the beach area itself feels a bit underutilized and slightly neglected. With more sunbeds, better organization, and perhaps a bit more ambience, it could become a fantastic spot to spend the whole day. 🌴
One of the best aspects of the resort is the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and welcoming — from the friendly front office ladies to the cheerful housekeeping team and the attentive restaurant staff. Their warm attitude really added to the overall experience. 😊
The food was good, with a nice selection available, although I found the prices for local dishes somewhat exaggerated compared to what you can find outside the resort.
The gym is decent for basic training, equipped with three treadmills and a bicycle, which is sufficient for a quick workout.
During my stay I experienced two room categories: a Deluxe Sea View Room and a Deluxe Sea View Villa. Both have a relatively modern look, but unfortunately they are already quite worn out in places. The bedding was excellent though — very clean, comfortable, and perfect for a good night’s sleep.
However, noise insulation is an issue. In the main building room I could hear the road as well as sounds from neighboring rooms. The villa was better regarding road noise, but oddly I could still hear footsteps and even coughing from the adjacent villa, which was surprising.
Another downside was the air conditioning. It is extremely noisy and, more importantly, the temperature control didn’t seem to work properly — the room became ice cold regardless of the setting.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay, mainly because the location and natural setting are truly beautiful. The price-to-performance ratio is very good, which makes it easy to recommend. Just come with slightly lower expectations regarding room comfort, and you’ll likely have a pleasant stay. 🌺
