Amazing stay! Beautiful surroundings, but best of all the staff. All made sure that we had a great experience

We’ve left today Banana Fan Sea Resort and had a wonderful experience from start to finish - starting right from the beginning with their complimentary airport transfer to the hotel (booked by email only at 11:00 pm for the next day at 7:30 am!) which was a lovely and seamless touch. Without a doubt, the resort’s greatest strength is its people. From reception and housekeeping to the restaurant and bar teams and luggage service, everyone was genuinely kind, welcoming, and attentive. We would especially like to thank a few team members who made our stay so memorable:

• Yaya in Housekeeping, who beautifully prepared our room for my husband’s birthday on 31/07 and made the celebration feel extra special.
• PAM, Songkran and Mook at Reception for their kindness and warm hospitality. A special mention as well to a gentleman at reception whose name we unfortunately missed, but who was exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay.
• Yut from the luggage service, who was always friendly and eager to help.
• Lek, who served us delicious morning cappuccinos with kindness and a smile.
• The bartenders, who were consistently friendly and helpful.

As for the resort itself, the swimming pool is beautiful and has an almost infinity-style feel to it. Our room was spotless and very well maintained. The beach directly in front of the hotel is clean and large enough, with water sports and beach massage available right nearby. If I had to offer a couple of constructive suggestions for an even better stay: First, the rooms could benefit from more storage spaces. We prefer not to live out of our suitcases during a holiday; extra hangers helped, but additional storage would make longer stays much more comfortable. Second, while the breakfast quality was very good, the service consistency varied depending on the day. On our first morning, we arrived around 10:10 a.m. (breakfast officially runs until 10:30 a.m.). Since eggs and juices are prepared fresh, there is naturally a short wait. However, a very young man member told us we "only had 5 minutes left," and some buffet items were already being removed around 10:20 a.m., which made us feel rushed. During the last few days of our stay, this never happened again - the buffet remained fully available until official closing time, allowing guests to finish in a relaxed atmosphere. Additionally, we only discovered in our final 2 days that we could order real coffee instead of using the automatic machine, thanks to the team working on July 31st, as no one had mentioned this option to us earlier. Anyway, these are truly minor points in what was otherwise an excellent stay. We would happily return and highly recommend Banana Fan Sea Resort to anyone visiting Koh Samui!
