This popular resort commands a prime location in central Chaweng leading directly on to the beach, conveniently close to the many shops and restaurants and just a 15 minute drive from Koh Samui airport. The rooms and suites are housed in low-rise buildings are decorated in warm bright colours and have their own private balcony or outside space. Rooms come equipped with air-conditioning, tea & coffee making facilities, personal safe, Satellite TV and minibar. The Superior Deluxe rooms have the added benefits of being on the ground floor with direct access to the gardens and a separate shower and bath facility within the ensuite. The main freeform swimming pool overlooks Chaweng Beach and includes a children's pool. Dining options include Moon Walk serving BBQ and seafood specialities and the Moon Dance Restaurant with live music, cocktails and snacks overlooking the ocean. additional resort facilities include room service, babysitting, massage, limited watersport equipment hire and laundry service.
Take advantage of recreation opportunities such as an outdoor pool or take in the view from a terrace and a garden. Additional amenities at this resort include complimentary wireless Internet access, babysitting (surcharge) and wedding services.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Thank you to the Baan Samui for making our holiday exceptional. Nothing is ever too much trouble. From our pickup at the airport with Su, to the amazing reception staff, grounds staff, and of course, those in the restaurant area. You are amazing! We love staying here. Thank you to Tan, Sunny and many many others who go beyond (I can't remember all the names). We will be back again one day.
The Baan Samui was a really great choice for our 1st stay in Koh Samui . The staff were very helpful especially Jeed a lovely young lady on the reception . She was very helpful and respectful an asset to the hotel . The rooms are spotlessly clean and cleaned daily and new fresh towels provided . The mini bar in the room was stocked daily and was very cheap almost the same price as the local supermarket . The breakfast was great with so much choice . Taan was another lovely lady who always greeted you by name each morning and kept the coffee coming throughout breakfast . All the staff were super friendly especially Riley who was a really nice happy person as were Chilli Sunny and Jaja ...actually all the staff were amazing but didnt catch all their names . Evening meals at the hotel were really good too 😋 The location on the beach was perfect with stunning views of the gorgeous white sand and blue waters . Fantastic holiday . Thanks Baan Samui Resort . The hotel provides excellent service, and Tan is by far the best staff member. She is incredibly friendly, attentive, and always makes sure guests feel welcome. We were especially impressed by her outstanding service!☺️
Happiness is Baan Samui! We must have stayed here at least 15 times over the past 14 years. We have beem here with our kids when they were younger, we have had family weddings here and now continue to come every year on our own - no kids (yeah!). The staff are amazing, they cannot do enough for you. Most of the team have been here for as long as we have been coming so it really is our home away from home and our Samui family!! Suwannee has done an excellent job at being the general manager. The culture she has created is one of family, kindness, and care for the staff and guests and is firmly in place across all the departments. Do yourself and your loved ones a favour, holiday here and experience it for yourself and you will return again and again - just like us!!
We have been to Baan Samui 3 times now and can't wait to go back again.
The hotel is located on Chaweng Beach. We have been to some of the World's best beaches in the Caribbean, Mexico, the Bahamas etc and this is right up there with the best of the best.
Awesome for swimming and watersports and spectacular for early morning walks (sunrise is breath taking) and evening cocktails on the beach at the hotel bar of one of the many relaxed beach bars.
The hotel rooms are comfortable and spotless.
The staff are part of what makes this hotel so special. Suwannee and her team treat us (and all their guests) like family and welcome you 'home' when you arrive.
Their service and work ethic is incredible. They just cannot do enough to make you happy and make your holiday very special. They quickly get to know what you like and they go out of their way to bring it to you / do it for you before you can ask. They go more than the proverbial 'extra mile' to help you and look after you!
We have got to know many of the team over the years - we miss them when we have to leave and look forward to seeing them when we go back. Suwannee, Tan, Sunny, Tik, Bow to name but a few ... you are a first class team!
Wonderful warm and genuine smiles from all - from the airport pickup, to the front desk, to the team on duty at breakfast and in the restaurant throughout the day, to house keeping, management etc.
We cannot recommend this resort highly enough. You will absolutely love it!
