Bo Phut Resort and Spa

I've stayed at Bo Phut resort with my mum for a week or so. We booked a beach front villa which was fantastic. To be honest the hotel has exceeded my expectations. Eventhough, the hotel is a 4 star, I'd say the service is even better than at some 5 star resorts. The check in was a breeze, i was even offered a valet parking for my car. The villa was superb, the bed was comfortable, the fruit platter was refreshed every day, and the hotel offers a turn down service. The both restaurants are good, Sala Thai is opened on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, I'd highly recommend to book a dinner and to try their set menu, the food was deliciuos and the service was outstanding. The breakfast manager would meet and greet us every morning, always smiling and eager to help. The breakfast was very good, please order banana nutella crepe, they make them to perfection. And the chef was always out to wish everyone a good morning. The pool boy was taking his duty very seriuosly, always wrapping little flowers into pool towels and he would always make sure that we were comfortable. The spa was amazing, i was 5 months pregnant at the time and the therapist was very gentle, she knew what she was doing. I would definitely recommend Bo Phut Resort, the location was 10 out of 10, even thoutgh the resort is in the heart of the Fisherman Village, it was very quiet and relaxing, and the grounds are gorgeous and the smell of frangipani trees in the evening.... oh it was divine. I am sure my family and I will be back.

Wonderful place with some of the friendliest staff we’ve ever come across. From the first moment we felt welcomed and the warmth of the people combined with the beautiful setting made it feel like a dream. Breakfast buffet had great variety and friendly chefs offering to prepare tasty fresh food as well. Facilities were clean and there was twice daily room cleaning/checking which included fresh fruit and water being replenished as well as mosquito precautions. They kindly let us do a late check out which was complimentary and much appreciated. Air conditioning worked well, blackout curtains were very effective allowing a restful sleep. The private pool was wonderful, the bubbles allowed it to basically clean the water by itself which is a great way to solve a common problem with private pools (leaves/insects falling into it) which was not an issue at all in this case. The location was very convenient, a short walk from Bo Phut Fisherman Village (vibrant street market), lots of cafes & restaurants within walking distance, and although there is a busy road to get to the main entrance, you can access all the places via beach, and the second you step into the hotel premises you are in nature and quiet peace. (Oh and a friendly whistle man helps you cross the busy road by stopping cars if you need to!) Also a truly beachfront hotel with comfortable sunbeds and a beautiful sea view from the restaurant. 11/10 would recommend :)
