Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Anantara. We felt very spoiled. The staff is extremely attentive, and we especially enjoyed the pool and poolside bar/restaurant TAN. If you're going on your honeymoon here, I'd recommend splurging for the room with the pool-- there were a decent amount of family with kids at the resort so the larger pool got pretty loud (rightfully so!) in the afternoon. It was nice to have a space to the 2 of us. Also, the spa was incredible. So relaxing! We didn't want to leave.

Great location, simple elegant room, lush greenery(but also mozzies). Twice a day room servicing, ample provision of water. Clean beach, plenty of pool loungers n pool fair size. Breakfast selection of Asian n thai food, taste can be improved. It was a comfortable stay but not really value for money. 4 nights was just right for us.
The staff member Bank was amazing. He was a really good guy and took care of us. I highly recommend this resort. It’s the best one on the island by far. Home away from home!!!
Sub par service in comparison to the price you pay. It was $900 per night for a junior garden suite for us and we spent my birthday at the property. They charged us $70 for the balloon decor in the room but upon entering, the balloon was fully deflated already and on the floor (this was an early check in). They still insisted on charging us for it (but waived it in the end when we brought it up twice). The spa was incredible. The food was alright. The location is very central to a lot of things around. The property was recommended as very child friendly by chat gpt and we were with a 2.5 year old toddler. The kids club was great with very friendly staff(probably the best service at the hotel). The rooms are a bit old, we had request for a king bed but it was 2 queen beds joint together. I thought they had no switches near the bed for lights but realised they’re located behind our pillows. Also very few charging points available. At check out, there was no staff to help us load luggage in the car. Overall, really not worth the money you spend.
