Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We booked rooms with direct pool access. While we did get rooms closest to the pool, we didn't have direct access; we had to cross a small path first. Some of the "pool access" rooms actually faced a huge, long, shallow children's pool; we would have been furious if we’d ended up with one of those. The tiles around the pool are loose, making it easy to have an accident. The blackout curtains in the rooms didn't reach the edges, so light leaked in on both sides. The hotel is located far from everything—a very long way from the main road. Given this, it is completely unacceptable that the hotel shares its shuttle bus with other hotels. When I tried to book for our family of seven, it wasn't possible because the hotel only has four seats available per trip if the bus is already full of guests from other hotels. There are only two trips into town and two back, and the return times are very early. This made it impossible to go out for dinner, so we had to arrange our own taxis. We had booked for three people in one room, yet there were only two towels. The photos on their website are totally misleading. You get the impression there are beach chairs on the beach, but there certainly aren't; they are on a raised area above the beach, within the hotel grounds. The beach is completely unsuitable for swimming and was closed the entire time we were there. Yes, the weather was bad when we arrived and the day before—but nowhere does it state that you should be aware that the beach can get ruined in bad weather, leaving concrete blocks scattered everywhere. An excavator showed up and worked for well over four hours; we only managed to get it moved after four hours, as the noise made it impossible to stay by the pool. We then went to their sister hotel—or partner hotel—since they had waterslides for the kids. Less than ten minutes after we arrived, a group of over 50 kindergarten-aged children showed up and took over the whole place. They even took one of our sun loungers until we asked them to move. So that wasn't a great experience either, and our children wanted to go straight back to the other hotel immediately. For such an expensive hotel, the breakfast really should have been much better; it was basically the same thing every day. We dined at the hotel on the first day. There was a 30-minute gap between the first dish being served and the last one arriving. We had wanted to eat three of the dishes together, but that was certainly not possible. On one occasion, I ordered pizza and was served it cold—twice—so naturally, I didn't drink my beer, which had gone warm in the meantime. Yet, the waiter still expected me to pay for it. Far too many waiters and far too few chefs.
Best experience ever the environment was nice and dark and the music was calming
Peak service, beautiful view, delicious food. Mrs. Ice's good, ngl. Love the entire hotel.
My room was spacious and comfortable. It had all of the comforts I required for a relaxing vacation. My only small complaint is the the promised sea view was truly only possible when I was in the balcony. The atmosphere was relaxing and calm. The restaurant staff was very attentive. Thank you Ice, Tong, Pakkard and Lex.
Private atmosphere, excellent service, delicious food. Everything was perfect.
