Centrally located, Amari Bangkok is home to three restaurants and an extensive recreation deck with Breeze Spa, fitness centre, squash courts and aerobics studios. Guest rooms start from 40 square metres and are among the largest in the area. The hotel is also ideal for meetings and celebrations of all sizes, offering 22 meeting rooms and various outdoor events venues.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
My trip to Thailand was my first, and I was delighted to stay at the Amari Bangkok Hotel. The hotel is very beautiful in terms of its excellent location, cleanliness, and staff who strive to meet all the needs of the hotel's guests. I received all the necessary care as a person with special needs, especially the employee Nicha, who did so much for me and my family. She was one of the employees who gives her all to make everyone happy.
Location is good as easy access to popular malls, nite markets, subway, spa n massage & eateries. You want it , You have it. Service crew in Amaris are friendly. Amaris transport we booked , on time n polite driver; Amaris customer service Mr Ari Winston demonstrated helpfulness , understanding and value add with good followup action & offer alternative to resolve. Amaris spa team fail to commit their service despite we received confirmation on our reservation of two days and as a repeat customers. Also fail to notify us and we only noted the failure on our arrival. Mr Ari resolved for us.
My husband and I stayed at Amari Bangkok for one week at the end of July, in Room 1916.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to the entire Club Lounge team, who made our stay even more enjoyable.
A special thank you to Ploy, who was always friendly, welcoming and professional at breakfast. We would also like to thank AM, KJ, World and Sun for their warm hospitality, kindness and professionalism every evening.
We also thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks served in the lounge, which were excellent.
Please pass on our thanks and congratulations to the entire Club Lounge team. We will keep wonderful memories of our stay and hope to return to Amari Bangkok in the near future.
Im really not sure how this hotel gets the high reviews and the full 5 star rating. It reminds me of an old Las Vegas hotel with zero personal touch from the staff. From check in - we were treated like we were talking to a robot. I told them I wanted a quiet room away from noise and they put us in the centre of a noisy corridor (albeit they did move us fairly quickly to the end of the corridor).
The corridors will keep you awake until all visitors sleep - the doors keep slamming until circa 1am. I also despise rooms with old carpet - this hotel has that... and in BKK, goodness only knows the depravity that these carpets have witnessed over the years. The reception area is expansive and is always quite busy... as you would expect from a big hotel.
Outside the street is bustling... and the malls nearby are sooo busy - Platinum Mall is always crazy and sells knock off tat.... however there seems to be a huge market for that. Central World is a bit nicer.
The Gym is good. Very impressive actually.
I see this place as more of a meeting point for business personnel and for families from certain nations (who are currently at war with each other).
All in all, for what we paid, there is much better in BKK... and I wouldnt rush to stay in this are... Sukhumvit and Phrom Pong is much nicer. As is Lang Suan and the One Bangkok area.
thanks to Nidnoi at reception.
She was incredibly kind, patient, and made check-in so smooth.
Her smile and attention to detail really set the tone for my whole stay in Bangkok.
Thank you for making us feel at home!
