Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The hotel facilities are top notch and the staff really helpful - can recommend the massage treatment and the tea afterwards. Always plenty of staff around to help with bags etc and never really looking for tips. Central location which is good and not so good. Good because lots to do and see very close by. Not so good if you have a thing about monkeys. We had a room on the top of the hotel and on some days, the monkeys considered that we were the interlopers. They can be handled but if you're nervous about them, get a room on a different floor. Lovely pool, plenty of public space. Did not try the restaurant/bar so cannot comment.

Location perfect for shopping and sights, rooms are clean and beautiful and breakfast has a nice variety. I plan to return.
The hotel was very traditional and we loved it. The Balinese culture was thoughtfully displayed throughout the entire property. The location was great and easy to get to all of activities, minus the Ubud traffic. That is just Ubud no matter where you stay. There was so much to see and do right outside the property. We really enjoyed LOL located directly next to Ubud Village. They have live music and was very fun! You do not hear the noise within your room which we appreciated.
The pool area was beautiful and loved our large balcony which overlooked the pool area but the foliage made it very private and secluded. Breakfast was pretty good. We enjoyed it.
They also provide mosquito prevention both spray and in an in room device. We are happy to report we did not get a single bug bite during our 15 day adventure throughout Bali!
