Very High Quality Welcoming Hotel
Exceptional hotel, nestled in valley, with views of the rice fields.
We stayed in an immaculate villa which was huge. The villas are at the bottom of a step hill but there is a very handy buggy service if you do not want to walk it
The staff are excellent providing top notch service but in an informal, friendly style
The food in the restaurant is of a very high standard and good value . Afternoon tea is provided, if you can fit it in!
We were genuinely sorry to leave!

A little slice of heaven is busy Ubud
We have just left The Samaya Ubud and had the most wonderful stay there. Nothing was too much for the staff and they treated us with such warmth and kindness. The food was exceptional at both restaurants and the menu was varied and well thought out, offering a selection of Indonesian favourites and Asian and Western inspired dishes. The room was excellent. Clean, well proportioned, and had everything we could have needed. A special mention to the housekeeping team for making the first few nights of our honeymoon extremely memorable. Thank you to all staff at The Samaya, we can’t wait to return!
Absolutely delightful in every way
We had a most wonderful stay here at the Samaya Ubud. The setting was beautiful and extremely well presented, clean and tidy. The villa was spacious, comfortable and luxurious and better than we could have hoped for. The spa and restaurants were incredible - and the food outstanding! But the most delightful aspect was the fabulous and genuine hospitality from the people who work there, no matter what their position. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was gracious and did things with lovely smiles. We felt very pampered and special. Everyone staying at the Samaya is treated as a VIP. The location is nice and quiet with a free shuttle into Ubud town. We did the culture walk from the resort, which was excellent and well worth doing. Our package came with a massage and this was a wonderful experience. Thank you Samaya. We highly recommend staying here and hope we can come again at some point in the future.

Island of tranquility
A very special experience. We drove in off the main Ubud road and suddenly we were in such a beautiful place. Service is exceptional and the hillside villa is stunning with a beautiful view, great swimming pool and a jacuzzi. The view at breakfast is so chilling, I could sit there all day just to admire it. They also have a restaurant down by the river, which is a beautiful way to end the day. It was our first time in Ubud. The town is quite hectic but when you come back to the hotel, it is an absolute oasis of tranquility. Loved every minute of it.

Was everything we wanted - very relaxing and great staff
Most relaxing break we have had. Staff were absolutely amazing and their attention to looking after our experience was first class. Villa was outstanding and plenty of room to enjoy peace and quiet. Facilities of the Samaya were impeccable and we will be back.
