Lovely hotel, incredible view and the staff were exceptional. One of the best hotels we've stayed at. Central but away from busy Ubud. Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed for six nights in August, and from the moment we arrived, we knew we had made the right choice.

The hotel is beautifully located in lush, tropical surroundings, yet it is within easy walking distance of the centre of Ubud. The setting is peaceful and green, making it feel like a true escape from the busy streets, while still being close to everything.

Our room was beautiful, very well maintained, and had a fantastic view. Everything was thoughtfully taken care of, making it a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay.

The food deserves a special mention as well. Both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious, with wonderful Balinese dishes that made every meal a real pleasure. The quality, flavours and presentation were excellent.

But what truly makes this place exceptional is the staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly, warm and genuinely attentive. What impressed us most was that practically everyone knew us by name. It creates a very personal atmosphere and makes you feel much more like a guest in someone’s home than a customer in a hotel. After just a few days, it really felt like our second home.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our six-night stay so special. And a very special thank you to Ade and Dewayou for their wonderful hospitality, kindness and personal attention.

We would happily return and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful and genuinely welcoming place to stay in Ubud.

The Komaneka Bisma lives up to all the reviews and the official hotel pictures -it's truly beautiful, relaxing, and the service is exceptional. Every single staff member is attentive, warm, and professional. They are extraordinarily good at remembering guest names and making you feel like you're a real VIP! My little group stayed in the regular rooms and a one bedroom pool villa. They were all wonderful, although it was so nice to have a private pool at the villa that we'd all like to choose that option in future. But the regular rooms with their very spacious balconies are genuine suites - we all felt like we had the royal treatment. Breakfast and afternoon teas are included and the food is excellent. The place is so peaceful - the antithesis of the insanity that are the streets of Ubud these days. You feel you're in the jungle in the evening with frogs and birds chirping and the sound of water running in the creek and waterfalls nearby. It's blissful. The staff are amazing - so helpful no matter the nature of your request. We are already planning our next stay. It's a short walk to the Monkey Forest (about 700m) or down to the main strip of Jalan Raya, but really who wants to leave?
