We had the most wonderful stay at Goya and are truly grateful for all of their fantastic staff for making this such a special time for us. From the beautiful property, the delicious breakfasts, the exceptional care and attention of everyone we dealt with, wonderful massages at the spa, a fantastic cooking class that was one of the highlights of our trip, a truly fascinating excursion to the local rice fields and local market, there was huge attention to detail everywhere and we had what we think was literally one of the best holidays of our lives. Thank you to everyone for making this such a memorable stay!
We had a wonderful stay at Goya Boutique Resort. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful and extremely comfortable, a wonderfully quiet retreat right in Ubud. The location is excellent, close to everything while still feeling calm and secluded.
The service was exceptional throughout our stay. Everyone was warm, attentive and genuinely helpful. The Indonesian food was excellent, and we especially enjoyed the local dishes. The spa is also wonderful, with excellent massages. Everything felt relaxing, thoughtful and very well taken care of.
A special mention must go to Tori, our driver, who made our time in Bali even better. He is an excellent and confident driver, quick and resourceful, and somehow always manages to find creative ways around Bali’s traffic. He is also extremely kind, reliable and funny, with a great sense of humor. He accompanied us with real dedication and made every outing easy and enjoyable. When we return to Bali, we will definitely ask for Tori again.

Very nice hotel in the heart of Ubud, villas and pool are amazing with breathtaking views. Very warm personnel always there to make our stay a unique experience.
I stayed at the Goya Boutique Resort from Sept 3 to Sept 8, 2026. If I could give this place a million stars, I would. It was my first time visiting Bali, and from the time I landed to the time I left, my experience here was nothing short of excellent. The staff is beyond kind and helpful, rooms are clean and have their own water dispensers (major bonus!), the complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious, and the resort itself is absolutely beautiful. I found the other guests to be mellow and well mannered, which made the atmosphere even more relaxing. As a solo traveler, I was craving tranquility and I got exactly that during my stay here. If I visit Ubud again (which I know I will), this is where I'll be staying! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Bali who wants a soft landing and a quiet, peaceful but enjoyable stay.
My stay at Goya was one of the highlights of my birthday trip to Bali. The property was beautiful, but what really made my stay special was the people, especially Yuni.
Yuni was incredibly helpful from beginning to end. She helped with everything from my birthday cake and capturing content to making sure I had what I needed throughout my stay. She even helped connect me with locals who became part of my plans and helped make my birthday experience even more memorable.
I came to Bali to celebrate my 40th birthday and wanted the trip to feel special, and my time at Goya absolutely did. So many of the little details and moments came together because Yuni was always willing to help, answer a question, or figure something out for me.
Goya will always be part of the memories I have from this milestone birthday. I’m so grateful to Yuni and the entire team for the kindness and hospitality they showed me and for helping make my 40th in Bali something I’ll never forget.
