The Estate is a 15-minute drive from Ubud and a one-hour drive from Denpasar; Balis international airport with direct flights to Singapore; Hong Kong; London; Bangkok; Sydney and internal flights in Indonesia. @Como Shambala estate is literally heaven on earth being in the midst of a jungle with sounds of crickets frogs and geckos too. We got the next level upgrade thanks to @rahiconcierge who made the booking for us with a spending voucher included. This suite must have had the best view centered in the midst of the jungle.
Every morning was bliss with the mist in the sky and sounds around, meditation, prayers and breakfast served on our terrace at no additional charge. Daily activities yoga, Qi Gong, personal assistant to take care of all our bookings, very friendly interactive staff. Dining was healthy lots of great local food plus western options. 400 ancient steps leading to the springs and river below where we paid to get the blessing ceremony done and then on another day was introduction to gratitude ritual at no cost. No point to leave this luxury and make a trip into Ubud where the hustle and bustle can change your alignment.
Suggest to purchase a package deal with room, meals, private activities and spa treatments all inclusive. I especially benefitted from the hydrotherapy with warm spring water and various jets to focus on diff parts of the body.
Wow, staying at COMO Shambhala has been one of favorite travel experiences of all time. The estate is very special, especially their sacred waters. My favorite was their incredible staff and generous hosting and hospitality. I will be back! Highly recommend! 🙏❤️
During our visit to Bali in August, we had the pleasure of taking a property tour of COMO Shambhala Estate. The resort is set in a truly scenic and peaceful location. From the moment we entered through the lobby, the atmosphere felt refreshing, warm, and welcoming.
The staff were lovely and friendly, and we were warmly welcomed by Surya and Yugi. Thank you both for taking the time to show us around and for your wonderful hospitality.
The restaurants and COMO Shambhala Wellness facilities are simply breathtaking. The rooms are beautifully appointed, offering stunning views, while the pool is truly exceptional. Every part of the resort reflects comfort, quality, and thoughtful attention to detail.
Although it is a luxury property, the beautiful surroundings, outstanding facilities, and excellent service make it well worth the money. I highly recommend COMO Shambhala Estate to anyone visiting Bali—it is a special place that deserves to be experienced.
I cannot say enough good things about Como Shambala Estate. I celebrated my birthday here; it was the perfect decision to do so. My personal assistant Shafa ensured that all my activities were seamlessly planned, allowing me to properly relax and take in all of the peace and quiet the property offers. My only mistake was not staying for longer ! Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to a stay here, I promise you will not regret it.
This was my second time at COMO Shambhala Estate - I first came three years ago, and honestly I never stopped thinking I wanted to come back!
I've stayed at a lot of nice and luxury hotels over the years but this one is still my favourite, hands down. The setting alone it's increadible: jungle all around, a waterfall on the property, nothing but nature sounds. It's just built for slowing down. The villa where we stayed it was gorgeous. They've renovated recently and somehow made it even better without losing what made it special in the first place. But honestly, it's the people who make this place. Nizel gave us the warmest welcome, and Ayu, our butler, took care of us the whole stay and even helped set up a surprise for my partner. As well, a huge thanks also to the F&B and front desk teams - genuinely kind, attentive, smiling every day, no exceptions.
Leaving actually made me emotional, which doesn't happen often. Not many hotels leave that kind of impression through the people alone!!! If you want more than just a luxury hotel, somewhere you can actually switch off and feel at home, I can't recommend COMO Shambhala enough.
We're already looking forward to going back!!
