This hotel is situated on the south side of Ubud. There is a total of 53 rooms, as well as a lobby with a 24-hour reception desk, a hotel safe, a café, a bar, a restaurant, conference facilities, laundry and room services, bike hire and a private car park. All rooms are uniquely decorated and feature fine Balinese furnishings offering both comfort and elegant style. All rooms are en suite and equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, a minibar, a mini-fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and a balcony/terrace. The resort also offers authentic Balinese traditional cultural workshops and has an outdoor pool with a poolside snack bar, as well as spa and massage treatments on offer. The open-air café serves delicious locally influenced Indonesian and international cuisine. Breakfast is served each morning.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
This resort is amazing. Owned and operated by Balinese, it is full of cultural artefacts including an extraordinarily beautiful art museum, daily cultural performances on the gorgeous outdoor stage and daily activities. Of course it has all the other benefits of resorts - restaurants, pools, room service etc. all top class. All my needs were met by the helpful and friendly staff who made me feel like nothing was every any bother at all. So worth a visit.
5th trip to Ubud and I’ve found my place. For art and culture lovers this resort is a stunning tranquil paradise. Great breakfast, friendly professional staff and close to excellent dining and nightlife (be sure to eat at nearby Twist - the pork ribs are one of the best meals I’ve had.. ever!) Being a historic property rooms are a little rough around the edges but otherwise very charming and a little quirky. I stayed in a delux room. There are more modern rooms available overlooking the rice fields. My toilet was sooo big that I had giggle every time I went in there 🙂
This resort is stunning. You step off the busy streets of Ubud into paradise. The grounds are extensive and lush, with lily and fish ponds, ancient statues, temples, a museum with all kinds of artwork. This place is stunning. You’re not in the centre of Ubud, it’s a 25 minute walk along a street with restaurants and shops. But there are plenty of restaurants, shops, cafes and bars just outside the entrance. The staff were so nice. I stayed in the family villa which was unreal. You enter into a beautiful courtyard through an ornate building. There is a pool separating the rooms. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re with young children, the rooms aren’t connecting. If I return to Ubud, I would definitely stay here. Truly stunning and special

Excellent massages everyday and you feel you are in heaven!
We had 90 minutes of full balinese body massage. The service is fantastic. Very relaxing. Highly recommend it.
