Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The hotel is beautifully located in the ubud jungle and yet within walking distance from cafes, restaurants and yoga studios, allowing guests to enjoy both worlds. The nature is spectacular and the way everything is built allows guests to enjoy serene moments, to reflect and wind down. Amazing service by people at reception, restaurant and the cleaning crew, everyone is so polite, smiling and helpful! The spa deserves more than one visit for their massage services. Worth noting the range of activities the hotel offers on site, such as meditation, yoga and cultural dances show. The room was amazing, spotlessly cleaned every day and re-stocked with bottles of water, tea/coffee and a mini bar.
Absolutely magical stay! The hotel is beautiful and feels like you’re right in the middle of the jungle, so peaceful and relaxing, yet still so close to town. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially Pita, who went above and beyond to help me with everything I needed. Such a special place and an amazing experience!
Better than the photos. Surrounded by jungle with the constant sound of the river from below. Many different nooks, looking out to the jungle to hang out. Every room's verandah is private and has an outdoor bathroom. No issues with critters. The furnishings are very comfortable and housekeeping keep things immaculate. The staff are all lovely and do a wonderful job. The complimentary buffet breakfast is delicious. The other meals are good 4/5 but pricey, as is the spa but right outside the gates and up to a 10 min walk both ways are many cheaper options. It is a beautiful unique property and i hope they never decide to cut down the huge cooling trees to build more rooms.
Warning - there are many stairs! And before i arrived there were a number of emails pushing the spa but no pressure on arrival. Also someone from a lower room (some rooms are a little lower down the side of the mountain) said the noise from building occurring from across the river, disturbed them. My room 503 junior suite, was not affected by this.
For us the perfect stay in Ubud.
Our stay was exceptional. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the rooms were always spotless—the fun towel creations on the bed each night were a wonderful highlight! We truly loved the healthy, outstanding breakfast and the daily teatime. The music evenings were also fantastic and a lot of fun. Highly recommended! Thanks for the always great service from all of the lovely Adivana Svarga Loka people!

Lovely stay in this hotel, the resort is in the middle of a beautiful ravine in the rainforest of Ubud. Lots of beautiful picturesque spots. Restaurant was amazing with some great food choices. Nice shows to watch while eating at the poolside. Spa massage wad very professional and relaxing. The pools are lovely but be prepared for quite a few steps to get to the larger pool down near the river. Very customer focused, always happy and very attentive to our needs. My only complaint was the back of the room we stayed in had blinds you can pull up if you want to have a totally alfresco shower but that also means its not very secure for someone to enter your back of your bedroom. Not the end of the world as it felt very safe on the resort with security and there is a safe but it could have been improved if they had a better lock to the bathroom other than a thin piece of wood. All in all a lovely stay and we would happily recommend to anyone
