Segara Village

Perfect stay, the hotel is set in beautiful gardens, we had an upstairs family connecting room, the bathrooms are a bit odd but didn’t really bother us. Staff are lovely, breakfast is quite good but not much variety, pools lovely, location perfect for Sanur beachfront. Loved our stay , the price was also very reasonable for our family room.

I stayed in a bungalow room. It was located at the back of the property facing into other rooms. It was reasonably sized for a solo traveller and the bathroom was lovely with both a shower and bath. I had to request a queen bed after I was given 2 singles but this was easily accommodated. There was mineral water replaced each day and a turn down service which was sweet.

Location wise it was right on the beach and close to other Sanur amenities.

In terms of atmosphere; this is a hotel for families. The pools were full of children. There is an adults only pool but the vibe is families and that’s what you are paying for. You could definitely find better value elsewhere.

The food and drinks at the hotel are also very expensive and their pool towel card policy was really annoying. Also one of my pillows was covered in mould.

We were disappointed with our room. We paid $260 AUD a night for our room. It was not worth this amount of money. Luckily I only booked 2 nights to try out this hotel for future reference. Our room was ground floor and the outdoor verandah looked directly into another verandah. The screen was see through. The verandah looked into a pond and wall. Not many plants, not maintained and not inviting. Our room was dark and well worn. The buffet breakfast was not the best either and tables were not very clean. The grounds are nice and we did enjoy the back pool. But overall we will not stay here again. There are better options in Sanur.
