Located beside the pristine sandy beach of Sanur, this wonderful complex offers guests the ideal setting for a relaxing beach holiday. The town of Sanur is a leisurely stroll away where guests can discover and explore the variety of shopping opportunities, bars and restaurants in the area. The hotel is conveniently situated a mere 20 minutes from Denpasar airport. The outdoor swimming pool is the perfect option where to spend a sunny and warm day. The hotel offers delicious cuisine to please all types of visitors’ taste. The rooms have been tastefully decorated to make each traveller feel welcomed in an elegant and comfortable atmosphere.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
This was our second time staying at Puri Santrian in Bali, visiting exactly 10 years after our first trip, and it continues to be our absolute favorite escape. If you are looking for a beautiful destination to completely disconnect from the world, unwind, and recharge your soul, this resort never disappoints. The ocean waters right by the property are always so calm and warm, making it an absolute paradise for swimming.
On this trip, we also tried The Spa at Puri Santrian, and it was absolutely amazing! The serene setting and skilled practitioners completely melted our stress away, making it a must-do highlight of the stay.
As returning guests, our biggest insider tip is that the VIP area (the Santrian Club wing) is well worth the upgrade! It adds a whole new level of exclusivity and peace to the vacation. Make sure to explicitly ask for one of their ground-floor rooms right by the pool. Stepping straight from your room into the water gives you the full, luxury villa experience that makes the trip feel incredibly special.
Our only piece of advice—even for a resort we love this much—is to skip the themed lobster dinner evening hosted at the hotel. While the resort itself is fantastic, you can easily find much better pricing, larger portions, and far more seafood variety outside the property. Instead, take a trip over to Jimbaran Bay for a beachfront seafood feast. We absolutely love it there—the atmosphere is unmatched, and the food is unforgettable.
Overall, it was another phenomenal stay with amazing hospitality. Even after a decade, it remains a true piece of paradise. We will absolutely be back for a third visit!
We have now stayed at Puri Santrian on two separate occasions — five days in a Deluxe Room and, on another visit, in one of the bungalows — and on both occasions we have been extremely impressed.
The rooms were very good: beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and comfortable, with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The bungalow was equally enjoyable and added something a little different to the experience.
What really stands out, however, is the wonderful staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful and welcoming, and the level of service throughout the hotel was excellent.
The food deserves a special mention too. We found it consistently excellent, with plenty of choice and a very high standard. Combined with the beautiful gardens and superb swimming pools, there is very little reason to want to leave the hotel!
The beachfront setting is another major attraction. Puri Santrian has a lovely position right on the beach in Sanur, with the gardens, pools and beach all combining to create a wonderfully peaceful and attractive setting. In the evenings there is entertainment, which adds to the atmosphere without taking away from the relaxed feel of the resort.
Having stayed twice, we clearly like the place — and we would happily return again. Puri Santrian has that rather special combination of beautiful surroundings, excellent food, comfortable accommodation and genuinely friendly people.
Highly recommended, and somewhere we would be very happy to visit again.

My grandmother and I had a full body massage and we both really enjoyed it! The massage was very relaxing and exactly what we needed. Pourni took great care of my grandmother and I had a lovely massage from Emma. Both were very kind and professional. Thank you Puri and Emma! 😊
Stayed for 6 nights in a Premier Deluxe Room with Adults only pool. Hotel gardens and surrounds are beautiful. Check in was not very welcoming in comparison to other resorts we have stayed in. Room was nice and big, bathroom was clean and amenities provided sufficient. Very average breakfast, wouldn't bother including it if we were to stay again. Pool was lovely and refreshing we only used the adults only pool which was peaceful, at times not enough lounges to sit on. Ate in the restaurant and food was lovely and well priced. Walking distance to restaurants, family run warungs on the beach, and other shops.
