This hotel is located right on the sandy beach of Sanur, one of Bali's most popular areas. It is the perfect base from which to explore Bali, the famed Island of the Gods, known for its colourful and vibrant temple festivals, sun-drenched beaches, rolling surf and rustic villages. The hotel is surrounded by 70,000 m2 of tropical gardens with many mature trees and coconut palms. It also boasts a wide range of services and facilities, including various restaurants and bars, serving Italian, Indonesian, Asian and international dishes. Guests may enjoy a full-service spa and a fitness centre or spend their day relaxing on the beach or lounging in the pool. There is an special area for the little ones. The spacious rooms offer modern conveniences for guests comfort.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The Hotel, whilst old in style generally, was well maintained with cleaning and maintenance staff polite and proficient to requests etc. The location is great and central to many F&B outlets and many other nearby hotels and shopping etc. We had a great view over the adult pool and sea in the distance....

We stayed for 4 nights and were warmly welcomed by all the staff. This continued throughout. The food and drinks pricing was above what you normally pay in the area and a short stroll to a Warung or local eatery was half the price. Breakfast included in the price was plentiful and pleasant. We had a room on the third floor and this was dated, and in need of some TLC. Shaky towel rails. Shower head not staying in the position you wanted it to and a sagging bathroom ceiling were all there. Beds were comfortable but aircon was loud and appeared very dated. Not icy cold either. The complex was good with enough pools and staff to give the appearance of space but the sun beds could have been cleaned more often (staining very obvious).
Prama is beautiful and in a fantastic beachfront location. The staff are lovely, kind and very helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, especially the beds and pillows. We had a suite for a family of 4 and it was spacious. Pool area is great and the food is fantastic. It has a wonderful atmosphere. We will return.
Overall, this is a very good hotel. The staff are friendly, and the hotel is clean, tidy, and well maintained.
However, there are a couple of areas that could be improved:
1. The swimming pools Something really needs to be done about the problem of guests reserving sun loungers with towels. As a result, it is almost impossible to find an available sun lounger until 3:00 pm. This is frustrating and should be addressed by hotel management.
2. The restaurant The staff are friendly, and the food is good and tasty. Unfortunately, the food is often served at different times rather than all at once. During 4 out of our 7 days, we were unable to enjoy our meals together because our dishes arrived one after another, meaning some of us had finished eating before others had even been served.
With better management of the sun loungers and improved coordination in the restaurant, this hotel could offer an even better experience for its guests.
