Mercure Resort Sanur

We had a pleasant family stay at Mercure Resort Sanur. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the resort has a very relaxing atmosphere.

The beachfront location is excellent and was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Being right by the beach made it easy to enjoy the beautiful Sanur coastline and spend quality time with family.

Overall, a value to money, comfortable and enjoyable family stay. Would definitely recommend it for its location and peaceful vibe.

I stayed at Mercure Resort Sanur from August 3rd to 11th 2026.Although I visit Bali quite frequently, this was my first time staying at this property. Even during the peak summer season, the room rates were very reasonable, and the resort itself is stunning. The property is laid out in a charming villa-style concept, nestled among beautifully maintained lush gardens and landscaping. During the day, the resort is bathed in radiant sunshine, exuding pure Balinese charm, while in the evening, gentle lighting creates a warm, atmospheric ambiance. Above all, the staff were exceptionally welcoming, kind, and attentive. Despite the relaxed pace Bali is known for, any requests or inquiries were handled promptly and efficiently. Having direct access to the beach made leisurely strolls effortless, and enjoying a cup of coffee at Breeze Bar was a daily highlight. Given the resort's established history, the rooms could benefit from a bit of renovation. While some rooms have updated floor tiles that feel much fresher, signs of aging are noticeable overall. However, should renovations take place, I sincerely hope they preserve the traditional villa architecture and lush landscaping. Simply walking around the grounds makes you truly feel that you are in Bali—something modern, generic hotels often lack. One constructive area for improvement is the breakfast setup. The selection of fresh salads and fruits felt somewhat limited. Additionally, serving the salad was quite cumbersome, as it required holding up a heavy glass door with one hand while trying to plate food with the other. Aside from the breakfast experience, Mercure Sanur remains a wonderful retreat that captures the true essence of Bali. I would return in a heartbeat—100% recommended!
