Hyatt Regency Bali

Our recent holiday to Bali turned out to be the worst vacation ever, largely due to our deeply frustrating stay at Hyatt Regency. For a 5-star property, the service standards fell completely short of expectations. Several issues ruined our experience right from the start: • Pushy Check-in & Upselling: During check-in, the front desk staff aggressively pushed us to upgrade to a room two tiers higher than our original booking just to accommodate 3 guests. • Late Room Delivery & Minimal Compensation: We were only given access to our room at nearly 6:00 PM. Despite the severe delay on their end, they only granted us a late check-out until 1:00 PM. • Incomplete Amenities: After waiting for hours to get into the room, the amenities inside were set up for only 2 people instead of 3. • Poor & Discriminatory Hospitality: This was the most unacceptable part. Roughly 90% of the staff we passed by never smiled or greeted local guests. Friendly greetings and warm hospitality seemed exclusively reserved for foreign tourists. For a renowned 5-star hotel in Bali, this level of service and subtle discrimination is deeply disappointing. I strongly do not recommend this property.

Disappointed with regency club experience. No special service and children under 12 welcome at happy hour. Rooms outdated and need renovating. $650 AUD per night for basic 3 star room.

A hotel in a great location, close to restaurants and shops. It is a large hotel that has managed to preserve plenty of green space, creating a peaceful atmosphere. Special mention goes to the gym, spa, and adult pool area—it is simply fantastic. The restaurant serves excellent food and is reasonably priced. The hotel staff are attentive at all times and always smiling :)
