The hotel is situated a mere 2 kms from the affluent resort of Nusa Dua where guests can explore the wealth of shops and entertainment venues. For guests seeking a more cultural experience there are a host of sights to be found including many temples in the vicinity. The hotel is a mere 20 minute drive from Ngurah Rai airport.The aesthetically impressive modern architectural style, lush tropical gardens, and typical Balinese style rooms presents guests with an eclectic yet intriguing mix of the traditional and contemporary. The relaxing ambience is sustained by the array of rejuvenating relaxation treatments which guests can avail of in the hotel Spa. There are also many recreational and dining opportunities to be enjoyed.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages, body treatments and facials. After a day at the private beach, you can enjoy other recreational amenities including an outdoor pool and a fitness centre. This resort also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and babysitting (surcharge). If you'd like to spend the day shopping, you can hop on the complimentary shuttle.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Location it’s right on the beach Very relaxed atmosphere Rooms are lovely Like myself there was a lot of return guests at this hotel so that says a lot about the hotel the staff bring a lot of customers back. Many thanks to Natalia Annie Bella Augustine Head barman in pool bar who all made my 5 year old grandaughter so welcome and paid lots of attention to her. Lastly thank you to the new Guest manager Vina who is so helpful and can’t do enough for you.
Very disappointed. Firstly, the airconditioner in my room struggled in the humidity and I was constantly sticky. The bed was comfortable and pillows good. Room was big as was the bathroom. The TV was older than me and constantly had a fuzzy look to it. Balcony overlooking the pool was lovely. Secondly, the all inclusive was a huge disappointment. Buffet breakfast was good but after that it went down hill from there. Alacarte is terrible, very basic. Lunch and dinner buffets use cheap cuts of meat and fish with not a big selection. The pool bar serves NO food, not even snacks. What 5 star (as they claim) resort doesn’t sell/offer snacks around the pool? There is towels layed on beds from 6.30am and very hard to get a bed, lots of towels but no one occupying them. The staff turn a blind eye to this. One towel per person by handing in your room key. The pool chair covers were plastic vinyl, the towels small so you sweated and stuck to them. I asked for a second towel on numerous occasions and was told no, only 1 so I would bring a towel from my room. The lobby bar serves no snacks and in a rainy day everyone swamps there and the 1 or two staff members couldn’t cope and were very slow as they also were doing coffees which came from behind the bar. Entertainment was very woeful and lacked excitement. I had booked in for 12 nights. On the 9th night I had to checkout urgently for a family emergency due to my brother in hospital who nearly died. I asked if it was possible I could have the 3 nights in credit. I was told a blunt no, this is prepaid for and the Duty Manager made me sign a piece of paper to say this in case I tried for a refund I’m assuming. There was no understanding or compassion and the staff could tell I was upset due to my brother. For a Melia hotel, this one doesn’t live up to their name or expectation sadly. The only saving grace was the general staff around the hotel, always polite. Would I recommend this hotel, no, there is much better standard of hotels cheaper in the area.
Had an amazing experience here. Got junior suite which was the best with an additional bed to go without any extra charges.
I have just returned home after having a 2 week holiday stay at your fabulous hotel.
The purpose of my stay was for me to have a holiday to remember and celebrate my 50th birthday in your beautiful country and hotel and I have to say to it’s definitely a holiday I will remember for all the right reasons forever.
You’re hotel was out of this world in every way possible and it certainly exceeded my expectations.
The staff in all departments are a credit to your hotel, polite, friendly, professional and always willing to go above and beyond for guests. The food was amazing every day and not once did we experience food that wasn’t delicious and mouth watering during our stay, the chefs are talented and know their flavours and the quality and standard of foods were mind blowing and flavoursome.
The room and facilities were mind blowing and not once did we experience any issues with these during our stay, it was faultless.
I would like you share this positive feedback with your staff in all the departments as I think it’s valuable to them to feel that guests greatly appreciate how they make holiday experience feel special and create amazing memories and both myself and my wife have traveled abroad to many countries for holidays and both agreed that this holiday was by far the best we have ever experienced.
We were both sad when the day came for us travel back home to Scotland on Thursday, but we made a point of thanking your staff individually because of how they made us feel during our holiday.
I feel giving positive feedback is always important and especially when people in this world are quick to complain but not always quick to give praise when needed and I thought it was only right to email you and the management of the hotel to give you this positive feedback and to praise the staff as these men and women are an asset to your hotel and make the hotel give that amazing experience and feel to it and you should be proud of them.
