WOW! This was my first trip to Bali, and the Mulia resort exceeded my expectations. The rooms are very large, we only had the Granduier room, not a suite or villa. They are cleaned twice a day and it is always spotless. Plenty of water is provided. 6 bottles every day. 2 for the kettle, 2 for the bathroom & 2 to drink. The entire staff are so friendly! Everyone from the gardeners to the restaurant staff would greet you and say hello. There was nothing that they could not do to make your holiday more enjoyable. Even the upsells were done with smiles and without feeling pressured. Very well trained, and genuinely love their work. Canelle, what can we say but WOW. The cakes & pastries are superb. The staff are fully knowledgeable of all of the many different cakes and explained many to me as I had not seen most before. Soleil was our favourite restaurant of the resort. We were lucky enough that they also opened for breakfast when we were there. The Brunch is a 'must do' just don't have any food before you come. The variety was huge and everything was devine. Fresh seafood, roasted duck, both confit and chinese style, yummy cakes and we got the non alcoholic package & could still get mocktails. The cafe is a good place to start your food adventure. But it is a cafe. It is noisy, busy & the staff are run off their feet, but still happy to help you and always with a smile. Table 8 was a HUGE let down. It was supposed to be a refined elegant chinese restaurant. I had specifically booked this for my husband's birthday. Well, it was a buffet, cold food in bain maries and soup with no flavouring. People were wearing shorts & thongs. No one was dressed up and they sat us on a communal long table like we were walk-ins. My husband was so annoyed, he went back to the room and got out of his nice clothes and came back in shorts & T shirt. Their app needs work as unable to book anything nor could you see the bill, even though both are options on the app. I think this may still be a work in progress, but hopefully they get the bugs out. Would I come back again. YES. We loved our stay.
I had an excellent experience in mulia and one of that big part is the accomodation and assistance of mr. SUDA he is very friendly and good to talk to and mostly reliable asset of mulia resort. He is very professional at his work and do everything smoothly ❤️
