The team villa was excellent. Thanks you for your attention
We have visited Bali five times and stayed in more than 20 five-star hotels across the island, so unfortunately our expectations and reference point for luxury hospitality are quite high.
Paradisus Bali is a beautiful property, and there are certainly many positive aspects to the hotel. However, based on our experience, we would not consider it to be at the level of a true five-star luxury hotel.
One of the main issues is the overall guest experience and, in particular, the lack of standards being maintained in certain areas. During our stay, we witnessed children urinating in the pool garden and guests walking barefoot into the breakfast area. What was particularly disappointing was that the hotel staff did not appear to address these situations or enforce any basic standards. This significantly affects the atmosphere and the perception of the hotel.
More importantly, what we have come to appreciate about the best five-star hotels in Bali is the feeling that the team genuinely goes above and beyond to create a memorable experience. Unfortunately, we did not feel this at Paradisus. Throughout our stay, we often felt like we were simply another guest and that the interaction was primarily transactional — a service to be delivered rather than an experience to be created.
The hotel itself is beautiful and has great potential, but luxury hospitality is about much more than the property. It is about attention to detail, anticipating guests’ needs, maintaining standards, and creating the feeling that each guest genuinely matters.
Having experienced many of Bali’s leading five-star hotels, this is the area where Paradisus Bali currently falls short for us. We hope the management takes this feedback constructively, because with the right level of service and attention to guest experience, the property could be much closer to the five-star standard it aims to represent.
Amazing experience. The resort was everything and more than we thought it would be. From the choice of venues to restaurants to amazing helpful service the all inclusive facility was fantastic. Big shout out to Dewi for cleaning our room brilliantly every day.
Our room was always so tidy and clean when we came back. Everything felt fresh and comfortable, which made us really happy. And then we came back one day and found this cute little monkey towel hanging on the lamp 😂🐒 It was such a fun surprise! Made us smile straight away.
