Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
One of the many outstanding facilities at the Paridisus is the Teens Club. There is bowling, snookers, kicker, table tennis, board games and areas to hang out. Wira and his colleagues go out of their way to provide for our teens a great space, are helpful and hang out with them.
We have just returned from an incredible stay at Paradisus Meliá Bali, and we honestly cannot thank the entire team enough for making our holiday, and particularly our wedding celebration, so incredibly special.
From the moment we arrived, the level of service, warmth and attention to detail was exceptional. The events team, led by Tinton, deserves a very special mention. They went so far above and beyond our expectations to make our wedding everything we could have hoped for and more. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their care, professionalism and genuine enthusiasm made such a difference to what was an incredibly important occasion for us.
A special mention also has to go to the chefs and hosting team at Sante Restaurant. They were absolutely fantastic throughout our stay. The food, service and hospitality were consistently outstanding, and they helped make every meal feel like part of the experience rather than simply a meal.
What really stood out to us was that this wasn’t just excellent service, it was the genuine warmth and friendliness of the people. So many members of the team made us feel incredibly welcome, and their efforts turned a fantastic holiday into a truly unforgettable one.
We would wholeheartedly recommend Paradius Bali, whether you’re looking for an exceptional holiday, celebrating a special occasion, planning a wedding, or, like us, fortunate enough to be doing both!

Hotel and surroundings are beautiful. Staff are so polite and enthusiastic. The problem is if your not all inclusive the bar prices are outrageous. Far too much comparing To other hotels. The beer prices a.d cocktails are outrages. Beware if yourn not all inclusive!
My husband and I and 2 teenage boys spent two weeks in Legian Bali and thought we'd finish off with a couple nights at the Paradisus Melia, all inclusive for a bit of a treat before heading home. We enjoyed the facilities and hotel overall, however it was not really for us. It is absolutely perfect for families with small children but if you are wanting a quiet break, you will not get this here. We really just wanted to hang out by the pool and cool off as it was really hot. Unfortunately our biggest criticism was the main pool. There was a seperate kids pool however the 'main pool' was completely overrun by kids. I think this is because the pool is quite shallow, with only a very small area that is actually deep. Because of this, the pool is way too warm, it was actually gross and felt like we were swimming in a warm bath. Definitely couldn't 'cool off' in the pool. But as I said, perfect for families with young children. If we had known this, we would not have stayed here and chosen something with a larger more adult friendly pool.
We had a lovely stay recently at Paradisus Melia Nusa Dua.
The great Staff everywhere were so pleasant and helpful. The team were amazing across every venue and facility.
Some staff stand outs: Stefan the wonderful chef at Samira and Peseta who when above and beyond to provide delicious vegan options. Arum- Edy , Kanna - Ririn, Peseta - Neta: Were all exceptional when we dined there Ulawatu tour - Panji was incredible at keeping the monkeys at bay, and ensured we all had a positive experience. By the pool - Superman and Gene kept us all entertained and hydrated!
Every restaurant was beautifully designed, and a joy to eat at. Every last detail was meticulously thought out from the crockery to the cocktails. I don't want to pick a favourite as they all had highlights and great features from the fish and outlook at Kanna to the mood at Samira and Peseta which was just incredible, and the performances reach night at Arum and Malva.
The rooms were well appointed and modern. Touches like the drying rack on the balcony and mini bar refills were appreciated.
The facilities across the entire hotel were just exceptional from the pools and water park to the teen club bowling alley and even the magical stepping trail - congratulations to the team that brought it all to life.
The less great
I have a number of allergies and dining was not always easy with my hundred questions and reclarifying.
Some restaurants that had several vegan options on the web menu had made changes and items were now not vegan - others were able to modify - and most mentioned I should let them know the day before we came - which I found fascinating given I provided allergies and dietaries multiple times prior to arrival and booked most venues the day we arrived with my allergies listed again.
For the management team- It's important to note I got different answers about what was or was not vegan on the same day, on different days, and from different staff, even about the exact same items - it would be fantastic to have many more vegan options particularly at breakfast and lunch venues, as well as consistent allergy cards like I was given on our last night at Paseta. And for staff to have a better understanding of what vegan actually meant.
And there are so many things that didn't need to be not vegan (eg the vege curry and stir fry at breakfast everyone would have been fine with the vegan version, or a vegan lunch pasta that everyone can choose to order).
But I provide this feedback in the hopes it's something not too hard to fix. As soon as Stefan was aware of my dietary requirements he whipped up things on the spot at Samira and had a list to pick from at Peseta. It would be great if that list became the norm.
The only other feedback for awareness was the shower design - the water ran around the bath tub edge and flooded the floor every time we showered. Housekeeping were lovely and provided extra towels but just one to know about as I'm sure all that moisture will cause other issues over time.
