This hotel is situated in the south of the Indonesian island of Bali, directly beside the picturesque sandy beach of Nusa Dua. The various shopping facilities and entertainment venues in the town centre are within a few minutes. Preserving its unique cultural identity the island offers visitors a wide range of sites and unique attractions. Ngurah Rai airport lies around 20 minutes from the hotel. Built in a typical Balinese style the hotel is surrounded by exotic gardens. The inviting outdoor pool area is perfect to refresh in a sunny day. Dining options include a restaurant, a bar that offer delicious options along with an agreeable atmosphere. With modern comforts and a decoration Balinese decoration, the rooms offer a pleasant and comfortable stay.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I stayed at Bali Tropic Resort in Nusa Dua. The atmosphere was quite comfortable, and there were many gardens that made the place feel peaceful and green. The location is also close to the beach, so it was nice to take a walk and enjoy the surroundings. The room was fairly comfortable, although some parts looked a little old. The facilities were quite complete, including a swimming pool and areas to relax. Overall, it was a decent place to stay, although I think there are still a few things that could be improved.
This hotel has authentic Balinese decor. Beautiful gardens which are really well maintained. Staff are super friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the unlimited drinking water which a lot of hotels don't do. Bali has an enormous rubbish issue so not having to buy drinking water reduces this. Breakfast was amazing, seperate chilled room for fruits and cold items. Great little supermarket just across the road that is patrolled with people to help you cross. Contains everything including lots of fresh tropical fruit. Good value also. Highly recommend.
We spent five nights in the newer +18 Club Room section. The room was a good size and had everything we needed, though our balcony looked over the carpark and road. The bath in the ensuite would’ve been great, but the plug seal was missing so it wouldn’t hold water.
We tried the rooftop pool once—nice and quiet, but a bit tucked away. We much preferred being down by the beach or at the main pool. The gardens around the resort are gorgeous, and next time we’d probably book one of the traditional rooms closer to the beach with a garden outlook.
The staff were absolutely lovely and always smiling. Food was great across the restaurants, and if you walk south along the beach path there are plenty of other great places to eat. The free shuttle to Bali Collection is handy, though we missed it both ways—taxis are cheap anyway at IDR 50k.
Heaps of water activities available right on the beach if you’re into that. We barely left the resort for the whole five days and had a really relaxing stay. We’ll definitely be back next year.
This was my third visit to Bali Tropic, and I love the place so much. Great food, the staff remember you when you come back, and the rooms are immaculate. We hired a private snorkel trip out the front of the hotel, and the guys who took us out were so lovely. We also got two cultural dances in as well as a full moon dinner on the beach.
Location was close to what is required outside of the resort. We stayed in the adults section and had access to all the resorts restaurants and pools which where all fantastic. During our 6 night study our room was cleaned on a daily basis to perfection. Daily breakfast lunch and dinner was a buffet style which provided all types of foods. Great if you are into that on a daily basis. Overall the staff couldn't do enough for us and provided us with very memorable moments. Definitely will be back thanks to all.
