We did the archery and gel blaster with the family. Ariana, Wiki and Agus Barong were great in helping us through the activities. Definitely worth doing these activities.

I fell in love with Padma two years ago, and I’m just about to book my fifth stay. I honestly can’t say enough about how much I love this place. It truly feels like my home away from home and my very happy place. Every time I return, I’m reminded just how special it is.
Located in the heart of busy Legian, everything is right on your doorstep, but I hardly ever feel the need to leave the resort because it has absolutely everything you could want. The breakfast is amazing, and as I stayed for two weeks, the staff went out of their way to make sure I never got bored with the offerings. A special shout-out to Rio, who was always so lovely and made breakfast even more enjoyable!
I loved all of the pools, but the main pool was my favourite. It has such a relaxed but fun atmosphere, especially during happy hour! There were lots of kids around the pool, which I didn’t mind at all, but there is also an adults-only pool if that’s more your thing. The grounds and gardens are a real highlight. I loved wandering around, taking it all in and enjoying how beautifully maintained everything is.
Another standout was Skai Bar, overlooking the beach with the most amazing sunset views. The atmosphere, live music and food are all fantastic — you absolutely must dine there! But once again, it was the staff who really made it special. Thank you to Oka for the best spicy margs, and to Inten and Richard for the amazing service and for making me feel so welcome every night. I honestly can’t express how much I loved Skai Bar — I pretty much spent every single night there!
Also, I have to give a huge shout-out to the Italian food at Barong Café! I honestly wasn’t expecting it to be this good, but WOW — the Italian sandwich and the bruschetta with stracciatella were absolute standouts. So fresh, so delicious and honestly some of the best food I had during my stay. Definitely don’t miss the Italian menu at Barong — I’d go back to Padma just for that! ❤️
As always, all of the Padma staff were incredible, but a very special thank you to Retno, Rayi and Shafira at the front desk. They went above and beyond to make my stay extra special and were always so kind, helpful and accommodating. I had to extend my stay, and the reservations team worked incredibly hard to make it possible for me to stay in the same room during a peak, completely booked-out period. I genuinely can’t thank everyone enough for all the effort they put in. It’s the little things, the genuine warmth and the way the staff make you feel so looked after that make Padma such a special place for me.
Leaving Padma is always the hardest part! The only way I can cope with the post-Padma blues now that I’m home is to book another trip — so I’ll see you again in November, Padma! ❤️

My wife and I (in our 60’s) have just returned from a week at the Padma (1/9 to 8/9) and were in room 594 which faces the large gardens and sport field, it was very quiet and peaceful and we loved sitting on our balcony in the morning having our coffee and listening to the birds. This was our second time at the resort. The grounds are kept in pristine condition a credit to the gardeners. Our room was kept spotless and tidy, a big thank you to the cleaners. The food was good over all considering the size of the resort, the themed buffet nights not for us as we are not big enough eaters and couldn’t justify paying $48.00 AUD each. If you are a family, children eat for free so would be well worth it. Breakfast has a selection of Western and Asian dishes and plenty of choices although I thought the curries weren’t as good as last year but still tasty. Overall, the resort is consistently good. The staff are fantastic as in most resorts in Bali, but we were treated very well from the reception desk to the pool side waiters. Like to thank Eka and Suwi for a great massage at the Spa so relaxing. Our waiter at Skai restaurant Luxsman was really attentive as was Handika at the Japanese restaurant. Nara was a most charming and attentive waitress at the Japanese restaurant and even came to say hello when we returned on another day and she was not rostered to our particular section outside. The staff mentioned above stood out to us in particular and definitely deserve a mention for making out experience so special. We really enjoyed our stay and will return again next year.
I would especially like to recognize my butler, Fatur, for the incredible care and hospitality he showed me during my stay at Padma.
From the moment I arrived, Fatur was extremely kind, attentive, understanding, and genuinely caring. Whenever I needed something, there was never any hesitation, he immediately did everything he could to help me and make sure I was comfortable.
What made Fatur truly exceptional, however, was that his hospitality went far beyond simply taking care of my physical needs. I came to Padma after having a very difficult and emotional experience during my time in Bali, and Fatur showed me a level of compassion and understanding that I will genuinely remember long after this trip is over.
He knew when to help, when to listen, and when simply being kind was enough. At a time when I really needed to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, he helped provide exactly that.
There is a difference between excellent service and genuine hospitality. Fatur gave me both. He didn’t just make my stay more comfortable, he helped make the final part of my Bali experience something I could look back on with gratitude.
Padma is extremely fortunate to have someone like Fatur representing the hotel. Please make sure his management knows how much his kindness meant to me.
