Emergency Stay Turned into an Unexpected Kuta Adventure 🧳✨
Missing my flight because my driver overslept in the car park was definitely not part of the plan, but it led to an unexpected overnight stay at Fairfield by Marriott South Kuta.
As someone completely unfamiliar with the Kuta area, the hotel’s location ended up being one of the biggest positives. It was easy to head out, walk around, and explore the neighbourhood with very little planning.
The hotel served its purpose well for a quick turnaround. We did experience a serious hygiene issue during the stay, which was understandably alarming. That said, I have to give credit to the management team—they handled the situation fairly, took responsibility, and responded with professionalism.
The verdict: Would I choose it for a long, relaxing Bali holiday? Probably not. But for a short transit, layover, or unexpected emergency stay, it gets the job done.

Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Service
From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel genuinely welcome. The check-in process was smooth.
The room was absolutely spotless and very well-maintained, which I really appreciated. Housekeeping did a fantastic job, and whenever I had a small request, the team responded very quickly and made sure everything was taken care of without any hassle.
Beyond that, the location is great. It's close to the airport, and still conveniently near attractions like Waterbom Bali and Discovery Mall. The breakfast spread was also a highlight, offering a nice mix of delicious local Indonesian dishes and Western favorites. Overall, it offers fantastic value for the quality you get.
Without a doubt, I will be staying here again the next time I visit Bali.
