Hotel and facilities are excellent. Just had the most amazing massage by Ria!. Every detail was expertly attended to, down to even the room temp. Would not hesitate to come again, in fact I am !
I have mixed feelings about this hotel, however I would not return. What’s good: Beautiful public areas, lobby, pool , restaurant and gardens. The location is also good and the staff are friendly. What’s bad: The food isn’t the best, breakfast is mostly good but outside of that a bit disappointing. The hotel runs a really weird deposit system where you have to buy vouchers rather than leave your card details as with most hotels. If you over buy on vouchers you don’t get your money back. You do get a small bonus for buying the vouchers - to avoid an no refund situation-buy a small one then pay as you go. Now this is really annoying-deluxe rooms are situated in a different wing of the hotel, away from everything. The rooms are small , wardrobe weirdly in the bathroom and small - nowhere for cases etc. The rooms are also really noisy in a courtyard around a pool, so sound travels. Pool is full of kids in the morning and during our stay - noisy guys at night until 1-2 in the morning- not on. What is really annoying about this room type and it is not clearly advertised, is that you can’t have breakfast in the Sands Restaurant y the sea - you have to have it I. The restaurant at the front of the hotel - I have never experienced this in any hotel and have stayed in a lot of hotels. The hotel runs functions and hosts delegates like a lot of hotels in the area. This takes up a lot of time and attention of the staff. It also means in gets busy. We couldn’t check in until past 4pm after travelling for almost a day was irritating. There was an Indian event on at the hotel during our stay. It was big and made things unenjoyable and uncomfortable. My teenage daughters were stared at, the pools were taken over(and spat in) it was noisy and we were pushed in front of and tables and sun beds were taken - sometimes intimidating!! On top of this the beach is having construction works and not at its best. I did speak to reception about the issues but to no avail. So be aware. FYI - great sushi restaurant in mall, temple garden restaurant lovely and fab Greek restaurant in seminyak.
Excellent experience of Bali traditional massage. Got relaxed and peaceful after the session. Thanks RIA for today.
Love the atmosphere, food and location of the place. Would definitely come here again when I go for a vacation in Bali. The room was always maintained well everyday and it is definitely worth every penny.
Where do I begin.... We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and it truly lived up to its five-star rating. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always willing to help. By the end of our stay, they felt more like family than hotel staff, and their genuine care made our experience even more special. The food was exceptional, every meal was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. While the hotel is definitely expensive, not one aspect of it felt cheap. You are paying for a true luxury experience, and in our opinion, it was worth every dollar. One thing to be aware of is that the rooms are on the smaller side. We were told there would be plenty of room for a rollaway bed, but that wasn't our experience. If you're planning to add one, don't expect much space, as the room becomes very cramped. Overall, the outstanding service, incredible food, and luxurious experience far outweighed that one inconvenience. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine five-star experience. Can't wait to come back.
