Kuta Paradiso

What a wonderful hotel - we stayed here for 6 nights In early August 2026 and the room we had was on the 5th floor was very nice and clean. Staff always smiled and would make you feel welcome every day. So much so we just booked another stay in November 2026 for 5 nights because we was very impressed. We last stayed here way back in 2004 yes the hotel is a little old but the rooms are fantastic. The staff and I mean all the staff are so welcoming and very friendly - never stop smiling or greeting you every day. Also I must say the breakfast was incredible - a large range over 20 or more dishes to choose from. Only a little down side you have to ask for the bacon because it not on show, its under the egg station counter - unsure why lol but never the less its so worth going down for everyday 10/10. I have been to Bali more the 40 times and we started going back to hotels because my kids are older so no need for a villa anymore. Trust me when I say location is great - you could not get much better - 3 minutes walk to Kuta beach and 3 minutes walk to Waterbom and more than 10 restauants just outside of the hotel. I read one review - yes lifts needs air fresheners in them but to everyone its not because of smoking so please don't let this put you off because I travel a lot and this hotel I give a high 9 out of 10. Lovely deluxe suite, very happy with room. Unfortunately the water was barely warm at best . Complained multiple times but still no hot water. Breakfast catered for mixed cultures. Very wide variety. Egg station and waffle,station were a hit with our group. Lady clearing tables was lovely always greeted us with smile. Pool was fresh but pleasant. Balanese massage was excellent. Overall hotel old but very clean. If not for,no hot water I would give this hotel a 5

Kuta Paradiso advertised as a 5☆ hotel and great nice looking hotel on entry and pool area but that's it. Rooms need updating badly. We were in Super Deluxe rooms and no deluxe. Sons glass shower door ready to break off. Took photo and took downstairs and showed reception and maintenance attended and fixed promptly. Thank you. My rooms tv cabinet had looked like wood rot. Mini bar fridge shows signs rust spots on front. Electrical wire exposed for lamp and other electrical appliances over on desk.

Breakfast a let down- hot food in Bain marie were Luke warm. Fruit and desserts not chilled all room temperature.
Only hot foods were the made to order food like scrambled eggs, pasta etc.

I had my 2 complimentary cocktails at Matildas on the Wednesday and early hours of Thursday became very ill vomiting and put it down the the 2 vodka based drinks but could be wrong. I never got sick from drinking 2 cocktails at the pool bar earlier in the week.

Staff generally nice around hotel but stand out staff were Suarki at front desk as very helpful in assistance with my enquiries and Restu in restaurant. Restu was friendly, helpful and attentive to all the customers he came into contact with. Thank you Restu.
