Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
This is one of the most conflicting reviews I have ever written. The hotel room we were staying in was beautifully presented and attention to detail was superb. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The food was great. The grounds are beautiful. So the issues were, smoking allowed everywhere, around the pool, outside rooms in public spaces, at the pool bar. Everywhere! Now I’m sure there are many people who think that’s great but personally not me. Ever when I did smoke I took care to move away from people, there was zero consideration for non smokers despite the signs . Then there was the pool bar, our room was close by and whilst I enjoy a drink the guests here took it to a new level, raucous noisy people. I never felt comfortable to have a quiet cocktail at the bar in the week we were there. I truly understand that that’s their thing but it certainly isn’t mine. I also believe people considering staying here should be aware of this so they can make an informed decision.
I had a very disappointing and disturbing experience with Kuta Beach Club in Bali.
According to my experience, guests were held responsible for an unpaid bill that was the responsibility of the travel agency that the hotel itself had chosen to work with. Instead of resolving the matter with the travel agency, the hotel put the pressure on the guests and demanded that they pay.
What I find especially concerning is the way the hotel’s management handled the situation. In my opinion, guests should never be made to suffer or be financially pressured because of mistakes or payment issues between the hotel and its own business partners.
The situation was particularly upsetting because elderly guests were also put under this pressure. I found the whole approach extremely inappropriate and unacceptable.
I strongly recommend that travelers be very careful and make sure they fully understand who is responsible for payments and bookings before staying here. In my opinion, the way this situation was handled raises serious concerns about the hotel’s management and treatment of its guests.

Kuta Beach Club Hotel is excellent Thank you, Mrs Tommy, management and the staff for the hospitality. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are exceptionally clean. We love this hotel and have been staying here for over 20 years when we visit Bali. The staff are wonderful, so accommodating and friendly. You always feel welcome. The food is delicious and breakfast is always a good variety of foods. The beds are comfortable and air conditioning is lovely and cool. It is in Kuta but is set back so noise is not an issue here. Love my stays here and will see you again in March.
